@PaulTassi Agreed. The fans awaiting the June update and the reveal of the announced next expansion getting treated to an end of service message instead is just nasty, shameful work from Bungie and PlayStation.

I don’t know how much work is left on Shattered Cycle, I don’t know how long it might have gotten delayed before this, but yes fundamentally setting this up with a “one last expansion” would have been less nauseating than how this is currently playing out

It is genuinely heartbreaking when you realize that developers within Bungie probably thought that the amount of content they were delivering was going to cause a resurgence in pupularity. Like this is set up to be one of the BEST updates Destiny has ever had.

@CactusWii @blueberriesGG Lord I hate the ball. Yeah Pale Heart was pretty awesome. Still got some things to do there too, but nowhere near as much. Took me a whole year to unlock the exotic hand cannon on Kepler lol

@LordCBH @blueberriesGG The pale heart is so fun to explore and find all the secrets and I liked the frontier too. Only being able to traverse with the fucking ball once you are done with story really suck

I can easily think of 5 things that hurt D2 WAY MORE than Renegades: - Wasting resources on failed incubation projects (2024) - The Edge of Fate - The Portal + Tiered gear - The Content Vault + Sunsetting - Biggest: Not ending D2 with the Final Shape to start working on D3

@CactusWii @blueberriesGG 100%. I finally decided to start knocking out some side missions and collectibles around Kepler, and it’s like pulling teeth. Compare it to other destinations like dreaming city where I was excited to poke around. Hell compare it to lawless frontier which is actually fun.

I’ve played Div2 off/on since launch and have played all the expansions and tried all the new content, I’ve got a fairly high level character and I can confidently say that the game is in a very good spot right now. There are is ton of build variety, fun gear to mess with, target farming and new ways to reroll and upgrade gear make the grind enjoyable. I’d def recommend it and it’s on sale all the time so u should be able to get all the content u missed fairly cheap.

@Fuzzy_Reasoning @PaulTassi Played Div 1 back when it came out on PS4 and thought it was awesome. Bought Div 2 when it dropped but just never had the time to really play it much. Thinking it’s time to fix that.

It will. Oddly enough I see Ubisoft benefiting the most from this debacle. They have an almost sure win on their hands (and boy do they need it) with Black Flag coming out, Division 2 is getting another DLC, players are very happy atm, the game is in a great spot and Division 3 is being actively worked on. They are perfectly positioned to take advantage of the MASSIVE (pun intended) Destiny shaped hole that now exists.
