@ItsKonBaby Shadowkeep being “awful” when the Studio is divorcing feels more acceptable to me than the Penultimate chapter being deeply underwhelming. I remember having fun w Shadowkeep because my expectations were in check. I remember being deeply disappointed by Lightfall.

@TheChrisRayGun I'm split on this cause your logic isn't wrong but Shadow keep wasnt just mid it was just kinda awful. Lightfall wasn't anywhere near as bad imo

Shadowkeep was (if I recall correctly) right when Bungie split w/ Activision. It being mid seemed fine. Lightfall was supposed to be their Infinity War. From that angle, Lightfall just failed in ways no other expansion did. Especially after how good Witch Queen was.

@N7Meyer @mortison7 I don’t care about story in video games compared to everything else video games do. It’s the least important thing to me.

@TheChrisRayGun @mortison7 1 raid doth not make the whole game great Mr Ray Gun, the rest of the game needs to be on that pace, and Destiny famously was known for not having a good story that we were told would be on par with Joseph Statens other writing prowess with the Halo Series, come on now.

@heyjdv I like Taken King but I wasn’t big on the Dreadnaught. Witch Queen also was so good that it made me reevaluate Taken King.

@TheChrisRayGun I’m gonna need you to put Taken King up into the goated category. That was a massive era for Destiny filled w new subclasses, quests, a banger raid, banger music, banger story like cmon

@ultrav_fgc Most are based on memory since half of this content is unplayable and gone. Lightfall is terrible though (aside from Strand)

@TheChrisRayGun Putting Warmind and Lightfall in bad, and Rise of Iron and Beyond Light in the same place as Shadowkeep is insane. Destiny 1 Vanilla should be in OK, Lightfall in OKAY, Warmind in GREAT, Rise of Iron, Taken King, and Forsaken in GOATED. These placements are a bit baffling, tbh.
