Whatever you did with the map lighting, and ODST's tech, it makes it look different from 3. Still, great work. Would have loved to see the rest of the Covvie stuff homogenized.

@vengeful_vadam I'd kill for a Halo 3 recompile. If Sonic fans got that done for Unleashed, Halo fans should be able to for 3, ODST, and Reach. By all means, it would be a better way to experience them than MCC on PC. If KB&M can't work, so be it. I just want pure Halo 3 on PC, not MCC or mods.

Using this opportunity to let everyone know the original 360 version of Halo 3’s matchmaking is playable again via Sunrise. You’ll need to join a host with the Sunrise plugin installed, or install it yourself by first installing Bad Update/Avatar onto your 360.

@vengeful_vadam God, not only does it look so much easier to navigate, it very clearly tried to mirror the console's own design. The concave sides, the blades themselves, all the smooth shapes like on the 360's shell, and external hard drive addon. A very intended piece of art here.

Xbox should (permanently) re-implement the blades dashboard for this occasion, especially considering they mentioned this dashboard here. Still the greatest dashboard design of all time.

@maximegrenier6 @2R_Shinku Is that on the original XBOX? Because, on MCC, those hexagons only appear when you toggle the HD skins. With Halo 3's PR, the pattern is there regardless, but appears less uniform, and more jagged without HD skins.

@minordissent @art_rube The only source I'm finding for that pic is from William B., on Artstation. It was a WiP fanart that he made in 3DS Max, 5 years ago, apparently. The first pic is from Garret Post, also on Artstation, 4 years ago.

@art_rube @Waterquag The image above is Marcus Lehto's remake the og art director. I wouldn't take much offence, but It is a good guide for remaking CE.

@art_rube I was jokingly thinking "mfs should just remake CE in Crysis 'cause they had it all figured out", kinda also weary that the reduced color palette wouldn't work, but your choice of colors here looks so much better than the UE5 version.
