Books of condolence are still available but will be closed in @ExeterCathedral and the @ExeterGuildhall this afternoon due the Service for Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II taking place. If you would like to sign a book of condolence, @RAMMuseum will still be open.

The State Funeral of Her Majesty The Queen will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday, 19th September at 1100hrs. The funeral will be shown on a large screen in Northernhay Gardens and the public are welcome to attend.

Flags will be raised to the mast‐head from 11am to coincide with the reading of the Principal Proclamation at St James’ Palace and until 1pm tomorrow when they will again be lowered to half-mast until 8am on the day after the state funeral.

The Proclamation will be read this morning at 11am at St James’ Palace, London. It will then be read out at the Royal Exchange in the City of London at 12pm. The proclamation of the new Sovereign is a very old tradition which can be traced back over many centuries.

The following day, Sunday 11 September, the Proclamation will be read out at 1pm at County Hall in Exeter by the High Sheriff of Devon, with civic leaders from Devon in attendance.

His Majesty The King will be proclaimed at the Accession Council on Saturday 10 September at St James’s Palace in London and the Proclamation will be read at 11am.
