@lazytyped @spoofyroot Mitigations don’t “make it harder” in amorphous way; they instead prevent exploration of specific classes of bug, require an attacker leverage more bugs of different classes etc

@spoofyroot It gets heavily used and security choices don’t get in the way. Issues happen, but not for fundamentally wrong design decisions and are fixed fast. Code quality is high and when new mitigations are added to the system, there is no clash/“adoption” required.

Ever think about what success looks like when it comes to product security? Assuming you're not naive enough to say bug free code. All other reasonable answers feel rather unimpressive.
