I think the weapons are in a pretty good spot right now and the only way up is to give every weapon an alt move set
I.e. Surge slash GS, Non dodge Bow, Stabby SNS etc.

topic of the day seems to be discord fighters so i thought id put in my two cents
it doesnt matter if someone doesnt wanna play a discord fighter lol, let ppl play what they want. however id say ppl often underestimate how easy it is to get games in bigger "discord fighters" tbh

@adelheidx333 Also maybe that's me being deaf but literally 90% of characters sound the same to me in chinese dub. Like in Japanese the tone of voice, mannerisms and such are all over the place to really differentiate them from hearing alone without even seeing them on screen

@keithjameschua Man respectfully I think Bandai needs to rethink and move a lot of members from their fighting game teams. In the last 3-4 years they all have been stinkers especially the Anime games. Idk if it’s a higher up or team member but man they gotta get it together

The Tekken devs are some of the most incompetent, tone deaf, and arrogant people in gaming lol. You got that retard Murray out here blocking ppl for valid criticism, 2 seasons in a row of ignoring complaints, tripling down on the awful game state etc.

Every Guilty Gear Strive major update we secretely hope that the game will change to a direction closer to the previous entries of the series. And everytime we realize that the changes are made to keep to current fanbase happy, not to get back the older one.

One kinda weird thing I noticed about Strive is that a bunch of the characters feel way nicer now. Jam is way less petty and sleazy than she is in past games and she's saying stuff like "follow your dreams" bro who is this

@tajh256 Yeah. In general I just find myself playing older stuff even if they are discord fighters in terms of online play. They only "recent" FG I play is VF5 Revo but it's a bit of cheating as at its core it's still 2013 Final Showdown despite some system and balance changes

Just to piggyback on this, I can't stand when folks say we are in a fighting game "golden age" just because of the amount of new games that are out now. Who cares about the amount of options we have when it feels like a damn slop fest!?

As funny as it is to watch Tekken devs be clueless, this is actually pretty bad for Calibur. Reason being that this patch was meant to extend the life support of T8, not shorten it. A shorter life for T8 means that T9 happens quicker, and SC7 possibly doesn't.
