So last night i attended a night club event called Zsongo in Madrid for the first time, biggest Afrobeats party organised in the city, saw 3 girls standing next to a bar inside, i knew they were Nigerians because one was wearing a Nigerian super eagles Jersey. Now usually when i see Nigerians like that especially in countries you hardly see your people, I am always quick to go say hello.. I was confused and was like sorry…..? She said please get away, she does not want you, she is not single, nearly becoming aggressive. I had barely even said a thing at this point. My South African friend that i went with was like this how your Nigerian people behave, i said oh well…. Okay so when I was 7 months pregnant my husband sent me into a gas station to grab snacks and also a pack of Marlboro Reds for him. The clerk looks at my very pregnant stomach, looks at the cigarettes, and decides to tell me I shouldn't be smoking while pregnant. And something in my brain just snapped. I looked him dead in the eye and said what are you talking about I'm not pregnant. And then I just committed to it fully.
