even if you hated more sketches than you liked, this show is so vital for 1) live music on British TV, there's barely any shows doing it 2) sketch comedy on British TV, there's barely any 3) getting new faces on British TV, there's barely any shows giving people a shot #SNLUK

This weekend sees the biggest British sketch show launch in years. If you love comedy, I urge you get behind SNL UK from the very start. In the last decade, with so little sketch comedy on TV, a generation of performers and writers have been denied their TV break.

try just letting SNL UK happen. If you don’t like it, shrug and move on, and it will lead to more shows that you maybe do like. TV sketch comedy in the UK is on its knees right now. Just let it try.
