Haven’t twitted in ages, here’s a sum update: left the Blakely lab @faubrain in October to move back to Canada joining @GPCRHenry in his new lab @umanitoba. Currently taking some time off the bench for my most special project so far: our baby Olivia, born in february 💜

First day in the lab as a PI @SBRC and Assistant Professor @UManitoba where we’ll study GPCR pharmacology & neuropsychiatric disease! Excited to begin filling this lab with colleagues to share in GPCR enthusiasm - passed down to me from my mentors @FergusonottawaS and @KLabGPCR!

@simonedsun I wasn’t used to it until I moved to North America. In Brazil labs are usually named after a research theme - often broad since projects vary. Makes it easier for different PIs to share a lab if they want to, which makes things more cost efficient. PIs names are still recognized
