Trying to find a way to make a palette swap shader. I took this as a base github.com/KoBeWi/Godot-P… and adapted it for Sprite3D. I want to have multiple palettes for one sprite (it's bugged, I can only have 2 atm). But it breaks shadows and it looks worse🤔 @GoldenEarthGame #godot

@GoldenEarthGame @Lorhus @unity @godotengine They ALSO have animation timelines very similar to unity, but you don't need to sit through that nightmare just to animate a sprite. Truly next gen

@Applepost67 The video doesn't show it too clearly but my problem is that the drawings that cover the map are Y-fighting, so it's probably a matter of telling the engine in what order to draw them. Thanks for the nice comment ! 👍 and for the suggestion

Y-sorting is going to be the worst and most crucial thing to get right in #godot... 🌧️ This was already really hard to get a stable thing working in #unity but here I feel it's going to be much worse with the limited parameters and project settings
