@Polymarket A country can't start a sovereign wealth fund when they're in $40 trillion in debt

@GunjanJS He sold options and likely leveraged it. Buying options can be useful or have good upside.

@SenRickScott The public deserves transparency and the victims deserve justice. What are you doing right now to push for the release of the remaining Epstein records?

@thekapman Dansby Swanson avg down to .182 And ops .609 and let's be real his career numbers with the Cubs aren't much better. Stop trying to sell him as some great player. You're desperately looking for an Anthony Rizzo on a bad Cubs team.

@jimiuorio On the scale of my concern over govt overreach, seat belts are very low. I'm more concerned about the govt taking positions in private companies, that is the slippery slope we should be concerned about. Your overreach concerns are misdirected.

@LorimerDan Not at all…but at the very least you can agree that is definitely government overreach and could be a slippery slope…no?

Seat belt and motorcycle helmet laws are a perfect example of how we are straying from individualism to toxic collectivism. They are obviously government overreach but they also save many many lives. If they were eliminated what would the solution look like? It would be fine if we allowed health insurance companies to deny coverage if the contractual parameters(wearing seat belts and helmets) weren’t met. Here’s where the problem lies. We as a society would be aghast at the “evil” insurance companies who were denying coverage even though it was all there in the contract. I remember a story on 60 minutes many years ago where a home owners insurance company was vilified for denying coverage in a home fire. The issue was that the wife or husband set fire to the home during a bitter divorce dispute. The clowns at 60 minutes had this “can you believe how awful these insurance companies are?” attitude and rarely mentioned that the insured intentionally burned down the house. These issues aren’t complicated.

@JamesFox917 The Andrew Benintendi conundrum is real. Where does he play when Mune comes back? Mune and Jacob Gonzalez DH, Peters CF, Montgomery RF. Is he worth keeping on the roster to split time at LF? I don't think so

Andrew Benintendi and Jordan Hicks have combined for -0.6 fWAR this season. Will the #WhiteSox eat the $$ on these sunken cost contracts in order to field their best roster? I’m curious to see the plan going forward.

@MCO Add'l note, those short moving walkways, there's only 2 and you walk up a ramp to get onto it. They're useless If you park in a surface lot there are no less than 4 escalators/elevators up and down before reaching security.

@MCO Getting around Terminal C is the slowest apt experience I've ever had. $2.8B spent and they put in the shortest moving walkways ever and didn't bother put gates on both sides so you walk extra far. Look out for that uphill walk to immigration when you land. Horrible layout!

@niccruzpatane @FrancisSuarez Tesla so badly needs to do a design update on 3 and S. The 3 can't look cool no matter what people do to it. Camry easily looks cooler these days.

This is true. Since owning my Tesla Model 3 Performance for almost 2 years now, I’ve received 30-40+ Software updates that included hundreds of features and improvements. My car is now WAY better than it was when I bought it. While other cars get worse with age, Tesla vehicles actually get better and safer over time. My car’s self-driving performance compared to when I got it (FSD V12) is not even close to what it is today on V14.

It never gets old that your @tesla just upgrades itself and your car gets better over time not worse.

If you have under $10 million and you are buying Apple, you have voluntarily entered the one fight in all of public markets where you have no edge, no advantage, and no reason to exist. There are 40 PhDs, three sell-side teams, and a sovereign wealth fund modeling Apple’s next quarter to the penny, and you, with your brokerage app and your podcast opinions, have decided to join that table. You will not find a mispricing in Apple. The mispricing in Apple was arbitraged away before you finished reading the headline. Meanwhile there is a $90 million industrial parts distributor in Wisconsin that no analyst covers, no fund can buy because the position would take six weeks to build, and no institution will touch because it would not move the needle on a billion-dollar book. That is your table. That is the only table where being small is an asset instead of a punchline. Your size, the thing that feels like a limitation, is the single greatest structural edge available to a human being in public equities, and you are spending it on the most picked-over stock on Earth. The big funds cannot follow you down here. That is the entire point. Go where they physically cannot fit.

@Acaffarella7198 @JamesFox917 Chris Sale also fetched us a helluva return. But at some point you need major league proven players. Can't keep counting on prospects' potential if they want to compete.
