@Kissinginstarss 800 v bucks is $8.99

@FortniteStatus why is it so expensive for vbucks now i could buy 800 vbucks for $11.95 AUD instead of getting 1,200 vbucks for $21.52 AUD
it never used to be like this, i remember it costed less before the change (vbucks prices) and you made 6 billion in revenue in a year??

English

FORTNITE BAN WAVE UPDATE :
Aftermath + Discord Bot Safety & Epic Games TOS - Is this too much?
• ~70,000 Epic accounts affected, 5,000+ confirmed banned, many innocent users hit, much larger ban than usual.
• Bans started yesterday and are permanent "Inactive" TOS Bans, issued as a result of a Discord bot command being exploited to invite spam streamers and other players.
• Command was a "/player" or lookup endpoint that was used to check online status but inadvertently started sending join requests as well, which was exploited by a few users. Epic issued TOS bans to almost every user that used this recently.
• Many popular Discord bots including Dub use this endpoint and thus, its users were affected by the ban wave. Though Epic almost certainly meant to target only the worst offenders, they can't always tell who is using it normally and innocent accounts were affected as well.
• Users affected by this ban are mostly active and dedicated Fortnite players, they tend to spend a lot of money on cosmetics, have Fortnite crew subscriptions, and include high profile collectors and notable community members including developers like @ItsADAMO_. The potential revenue loss of so many lost Users is not significant and either was unintended or was a decision not lightly made.
• Widespread bans like this are rare and generally only involve a few users, this decision has affected many players that innocently use Discord bots regularly. There are thousands upon thousands of regular Discord bot users as most bots have been deemed safe by the community and are used for everything from locker cosmetic checks to save the world missions.
• Discord bots though generally safe and supported by Epic through its token login system to connect to external apps, sometimes encounter a grey area in regards to Epic's TOS as they may sent API requests that are not intended, and some of these can lead to exploits and other misuse.
• Epic games has yet to issue a statement regarding these bans or guidance on discord bots and their safety.
• Is this too much? --- Epic generally is low key about changes especially regarding bans, unless it is to make a statement like with the competitive bans or cheating. With Discord Bots affecting so many Users and accounts interacting with them, was it justified?
Should we receive some more information and guidance and should Epic have more involvement on their use to prevent this from happening again?
• My advice for now, Discord bots have always had a non-zero risk of getting banned even though they have been safe for years. Do NOT use any Discord Bot unless officially supported by Epic or Fortnite.

@FNBRintel Almost never used a discord bot other than AK47, but it's good that people who abuse it get banned especially spammers 👍
English

@Loolo_WRLD @kriiss_xo Don't think these lego Ninjago skins will fit as fortnite skins 😂

@LorkyGG @highoffdetach @ShiinaBR You can’t just say that and not elaborate. Do you mean utilizing early STW?
