@rulepanic Yet US drones sent to UA continue to fail. They aren’t built against an EW environment because they can’t test against one
English

@LostWeapons People treat Ukr/RU drone tech as enormously complicated, but it's mostly hobbyist grade gear and open source software. Granted, US is currently led by a coalition of incompetent and corrupt authoritarians so we can't expect...well... competence.
English

It’s not to late for the US to learn a couple lessons from Ukraine and start welding cages onto their vehicles and mounting M2s on every used truck they can find

SCOOP!!! Trump administration considering deploying thousands of additional troops to the Middle East as the military prepares options for the possible next phase of the Iran war. One option for securing the Strait of Hormuz includes deploying troops to Iranian shores. w/@idreesali114

Qatar making Hamas leaders go back to Gaza
Clash Report@clashreport
NEW: Hamas urges Iran to stop “targeting neighbouring countries.”
English

@skankhunt414231 @Svengooli It looks like they can carry bombs and missiles too with the pylons on the wings
English

@Svengooli @LostWeapons Because they’re kinda reusable in a sense that they can abort the mission and turn back to their bases. Also making them useful for recon missions.
English

@LevaD52336962 @JJ4766 Are you? Ukraine didn’t invent drones dropping grenades. Isis was doing that years before. Green zone wasn’t a safe zone it was a control zone, other areas in Baghdad were ‘red zones’. Any real military is a threat to diplomatic zones. Fighter jets and ballistic missiles>drones
English

@LevaD52336962 @JJ4766 The US didn’t create an area in the center of an ancient city genius
English

@LostWeapons @JJ4766 The Green Zone in Baghdad was a heavily fortified area housing Iraq’s government, foreign embassies, and coalition headquarters. It was created after the 2003 invasion of Iraq as the coalition’s secure administrative center.
English

@LevaD52336962 @JJ4766 The US didn’t create the ‘green zone’ that was just Saddams family and government area. It just meant controlled not safe
English

@LostWeapons @JJ4766 The "green zone" the US created is not possible in the age of drones.
English

@JJ4766 @LostWeapons The entire concept of a "GREEN ZONE" died at the start of the Ukraine war. The moment Ukrainians started dropping hand grenades with drones on Russian soldiers "green zones" became as usefull as horse mounted cavalry.
English

@BernardJansen I think this is blurring the lines and can do both.
English

@LostWeapons What’s the difference between that and an “attack drone”?
English

@ShoelessT Now’s not really a great time to bring huge planes into Baghdad and transport weapons
English

@LostWeapons they had these since the 2000's, wont destroying them just give them a reason to install the latest 2020's model?
English

@Ciftetelsiz Irans don’t cost 7k either. The Chinese engines are 10k alone
English

@LostWeapons Also is it going to cost 7k usd? I don’t think so.
English

@Svengooli Because it’s super heavy weight. 2-3x the warhead of Russian/iranian
English

@LostWeapons Why do they waste a bunch of fuel and range carrying wheels around. They should shed the wheels after takeoff.
Or is it because these are just the test units
English

@DrPaulyDeSantis The end game equation still doesn’t math from what you can do from the air.
English

@LostWeapons No one needs to move now. Attrit and erode capabilities within 90 miles of there for a week or two before.
