@DWTheOriginal I do agree to some extent. He's not Juan Soto, but his data, including EV's, chase, Z-Con and so on is all closest to Soto. Realistically, it would be Mookie or J-Ram who are more likely comparisons, which is still crazy.

@LouisAnalysis My friend, no one comps to Juan Soto, regardless of what any model might say. We’re talking about an Inner Circle HOFer. It’s kind of like the old scouting adage that said you’re not allowed to compare any athlete to Bo Jackson.

The LA Dodgers have the best record in baseball. But their farm depth is also ridiculous. At Single-A, the Top 10 in OPS are almost half Dodgers: - Easton Shelton - Chase Harlan* - Jaron Elkins - Ching-Hsien Ko Harlan has been promoted to High-A.

Yuki Matsui looks more like his NPB-self in 2026. So far, he pitched 31.1 innings to a 2.01 ERA, 26.7% K%, 13.7% BB% and is keeping opponents to a .196 BAA. His 38.4% Whiff% sits in the 99th percentile as well. Still the youngest NPB closer to get to 200 saves!

Ryan Zeferjahn since June 1st: 16 IP 0.52 ERA 2.37 FIP 1 SV / 2 HLD 41.5% K% 20% BB% .078 BAA Zeferjahn has been effectively wild throughout 2026: - FF velo up 2.2 MPH ✅ - Whiff% up to 33% (+3%) ✅ He gets tons of whiffs, but no chases at all (22.7%, 1st percentile)
