@SamAkinSeun Nordgard wasn’t the problem yesterday, neither was MLS! Havertz was played as a MF leaving Nordgard to play entire midfield on his own! Jesus & Havertz, also never made any runs, & all were occupying positions where MLS operates!

@AdeyinkaKanmi @SamAkinSeun Trossard is way better without the ball. You saw when we lost possession for the first goal. Southampton immediately saw the space to the right.

@SamAkinSeun U see that Trossard is not too better than Martinelli. But you see all those 5 players you mentioned up there is very useless. Kelly & Norgaard shocked me yesterday

To those who in 2027 during the rugby world cup will still be making blanket statements claiming that rugby isn’t a popular sport among black people, this is how the Eastern Cape is during the long Easter weekend.

@Alarsenalnews_ You are over reaching & over analytical 🧐. Arsenal were all on Southampton side of the field when they broke for the first goal. That is how we play. Stop this thing of trying to crucify players when it doesn’t work. The level was poor yesterday.

It all started with White's mischievous miscalculation. For a player of White caliber and experience, I was expecting better. You saw the ball coming and you knew their was a player waiting at your back and you still went on to deliver a premature jump that's absolutely devoid of calculation. The error-laden game he had tonight is reason enough for him to be subjected to the dreadful art of sitting on the bench especially on big occasions. That was an outing to forget. Lewis Skelly was more of a rugby player than he was a footballer tonight. Any time he pushed the ball forward, it ended up in an avoidable collision. The game didn't just expose him, it further helped in showing how unreliable both him and Norgaard are. Odergaard tried moving mountains in the first half but he's never the type to do so without Saka. He failed. Was Kai Havertzʼs moves any short of what would be expected from a headless chicken? He was so busy doing nothing. The moment you remove his lone assist, it's over. How Jesus transformed from grace to grass is one transformation that'll stay with me for a very long time. It hurts seeing a player that once commanded fear and bended defenders to his will moving like a paper lion, devoid of almost all the qualities that endeared him to your heart. Even though I'll forever need you in my life, it's time to say goodbye, my dear. Does Martinelli ever learn? Like, does he ever grant himself the time to sit down, relax and replay Arsenal games to pick up the blunders he committed one by one for proper corrections? He's that player that'll always give one thing over and over again. Same moves, same energy and everything. Nothing new just the same Martinelli we all know. We wholeheartedly need an upgrade. First half was played with mediocre attack, mediocre midfield and mediocre defense. We started living life after the substitution. Mikel pulling Jesus out for Gyokores, Odegaard for Madueke so that Dowman can drop into the midfield and Calafiori coming in to put a stop to Lewis Skelly's never-ending errors was the only move that gave us hope. In that short time Dowman was deployed to midfield, he showed us that the earlier he replace Odegaard the better for us all. The level of technicality he exuded and his tamerity to hold on to the ball and drag it through to break patterns has worked hand in hand in showing us how we've been playing without a flexible creative midfielder. He's good on the wing and even better in the midfield. I hate it when Madueke smile after committing an error. Must you smile in a serious situation? Gyokores goal was on point just that it wasn't good enough. Calafiori inability to flourish in one-on-one situations contributed to our downfall. Pairing Gabriel with Mosquera is like pairing chaos with chaos. Two similar profiles in a position you need two different profiles only helps inviting unwanted blunders. We don't have a balanced defense without Saliba in defense. He brings calmness, maturity and well-calculated moves whenever he's involved. Kepa isn't doing enough. Poor timing and weak reflex. Can't handle pressure. Every thing about this game is a negative. The heart-wrenching defeat. Gabriel walking off injured. It's Carabao and now FA. What's next? It's looking more and more like the Arsenal we know acting the same kind of script we know but with a different pattern. If we dare finish the season without winning major, it's over. I won't mind seeing a new manager at Arsenal.

🚨🎙️ | Gary Neville on Arsenal F.C.: 🗣️ “Based on the last two domestic cup games, Arsenal might have to start saying goodbye to trophies this season. 🗣️ If they continue playing like that, even Manchester City could catch them in the league. 🗣️ You watch City against Liverpool — that’s a team playing to the required standard. 🗣️ Arsenal, on the other hand, look like they don’t even know what they’re playing for. You can’t be called the best in the world and perform like that.” 👀🔥

🗣️Micah Richards blames Mikel Arteta for the #Arsenal loss to Southampton: “You have to play your best team. There is going to be so much noise around it. With Arsenal against Man City you can get beat in a final. Last night, you asked me if I would play David Raya. I don’t think it was anything to do with him in terms of them losing, but you have to play your best team. “It was only a couple of weeks ago people were saying Arsenal could do the quadruple, now they are in two competitions. Man City, after what they did beating Liverpool 4-0, look like they are going to push them all the way for the league and the Champions League – anyone can win that. “The most disappointing thing for me was watching them and their attitude. They have been excellent defensively, in transitions they have been very good, the shape has been good and the effort has been as good as anyone. For them to turn up the way they did against Southampton, I thought was very poor.”

🚨🎙️ | Paul Merson on Arsenal F.C.: 🗣️ “That Arsenal team needs to sit down and reflect — before it’s too late. 🗣️ What we saw against Southampton is not a team fighting to win the league. 🗣️ It’s not a team ready to compete in Europe, and it’s nowhere near the required standard. 🗣️ They need to take a hard look at themselves.” 👀🔥

🚨🗣️| Roy Keane on Arsenal Fa Cup elimination: “They were too busy comparing themselves to the iconic 2008 Manchester United team instead of focusing on achieving what that side actually did. Now they’ve been knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Manchester City last week and eliminated from the FA Cup by a relegated Southampton last night, disgraceful.”

"An African American in South Africa" is a collection of travel notes from a three-month trip in 1937–1938 by the Nobel Peace Prize laureate (1950) Ralph Bunche which documented his observations and analysis of South Africa's segregated society as well as the resistance movements (ANC/AAC) of the time. The book, compiled by historian Robert R. Edgar, provides insights into racial domination and colonialism through the eyes of an African American intellectual. Bunche studied how race relations functioned and compared the South African system to that of the United States, noting both the extreme nature of the segregation and the internal political dynamics of the non-Western societies.

🚨🎙️ | Ian Wright on Arsenal F.C.: 🗣️ “If Southampton can dominate you, and players look exhausted — like they don’t even realise they’re playing a quarter-final — then what standards are we talking about? 🗣️ This is April. Seven games left in the Premier League… and you can’t win a quarter-final at Southampton? 🗣️ These are the moments that show how ready you are to go and win the league — and right now, I’m disappointed.” 😤🔥
