SSPX has an amazing historical church in Paris. If you get a chance to go to mass there or just a visit , I highly encourage doing so. Here's some historical tidbits on what makes this church so special : 1) The church origin dates back to the 1200 when the Abbott of Saint Victor ceded to the Bishop of Paris a field called clos du Chardonnet to start a Parish. 2) Only the bell tower added in 1625 remains 3) A seminary was founded there in 1612 that was visited by both Saint Francis de Sales and Saint Vincent de Paul 4) In 1656 the church was expanded out of necessity , design was a collaboration between Jacques Lemercier and Charles Le Brun ( The Sun Kings painter ) 5) This parish distinguished itself by its clergy who defended the faith from Jansenism and Gallicanism in the 17th century , and also maintained public worship to the point of martyrdom during the French revolution with those who perished listed in that photo I posted. They also led the fight against modernism in the early 20th century. I can't think of a church better representative of the societies ideals.

I used to once a month. My mother is active in her Novus Ordo parish. Now , I make up an excuse and confess it the next time before mass. Altar girls , women wearing mini skirts and guys wearing the local college schools logo shirts. No thanks. I looked for the unicorn you're describing. Not in Houston Texas , and sure as heck not a few miles from where I live (my SSPX chapel). I serve as usher , I'm in the Holy name society , I'm even in postulancy for the Third Order...all from rarely attending NO church. This is home

@LouisIX162589 @AuditeInsulae How often do you visit an “ordinary” parish? Numbers are GROWING. 12pm Masses in some parishes are so full you would think you were at Sunday Mass. I invite you to find a parish holding reverent NO masses w/ confession + adoration 5x/week and attend Mass there one Sunday.

Head of the SSPX Fr Pagliarani said “...in an ordinary parish, the faithful no longer find the means necessary to ensure their eternal salvation." He says those at 'ordinary' parishes are not Catholics. How is this compatible with real experience? Two of my children praying the Rosary before N.O. Mass today

Le 30 avril 2026, a marqué le dernier jour de tournage de La Résurrection du Christ, nouveau film réalisé par Mel Gibson qui fera suite au classique de 2004, La Passion du Christ. Après des semaines intenses de production dans des lieux historiques en Italie, le projet conclut sa phase principale et entre désormais en post-production. L’attente est immense, car le film promet de montrer de manière inédite les événements qui ont suivi la crucifixion de Jésus, prolongeant l’impact laissé par le premier film. La dernière phase des tournages a eu lieu dans la région de Torre Guaceto, dans les Pouilles, où ont été filmées des scènes importantes, dont la reconstitution d’un village de pêcheurs. Considérée comme une production colossale, avec un budget estimé à environ 200 millions d’euros, le film a également été tourné dans d’autres lieux marquants tels que Ginosa, Pisticci, Gravina dans les Pouilles et la ville fantôme de Craco. Le dernier jour a été marqué par une grande émotion en coulisses, avec les applaudissements des acteurs et de l’équipe après la scène finale, ainsi qu’une célébration spéciale réunissant les participants du projet, les autorités locales et les organisations de la région. Le film sera divisé en deux parties, avec un lancement stratégique à des dates symboliques du calendrier chrétien. I'd honestly be surprised if anyone left at all. We have SSPV who attend our chapel , probably because we have a fantastic holy young priest who sings beautifully in chant. Our chapel is exploding with growth. People drive hours one way to attend. Masses are standing room only and people hang out , visit and eat hours after mass while their children play together. It's obviously hard not to notice what Rome says or does but this is Catholicism as it was before the revolutionaries took hold of the hierarchy and we're not leaving because they told us to.

@TradCathSermons You’re joking, right? A few priests will leave. A few laity. Maybe a few prayers will be said after the Mass. Everything else will carry on as before.

What will it look like if the SSPX is excommunicated? Will all the doors of their churches close? What are most planning? The few remaining indult Masses? The N.O. "Mass"? A sede chapel? Will whole parishes resort to renting a hall every Sunday?

Those of us who have been in Novus Ordo Seminaries would agree that most are Homo

My wife was 22 and I was 23 when we married. We eventually had 8 children. Our 20s were marked by Boomer generation “advisors” at the grocery store, events, restaurants, and stores WARNING us not to have more children. They openly pitied us for having 3+ children. Boomer women thought my wife was being oppressed by her husband. At an Outback, a man openly told me “I feel sorry for you for having those kids.” Many Boomers were brainwashed to perceive having children “as a bad thing.” Worst of all, they felt empowered to insult a young couple in the presence of our children. Meanwhile, these people were in favor of importing the entire Third World into America for the sake of GDP. What a strange moment in American history.

I was in Rome with the SSPX in August last year for the Jubilee We were treated well. We also had permission to say Mass at St Mary Major. Things were going very favorably then. We never got a blessing from Leo like this Gay Group did. Hmmm
