Saint JP2, and Benedict, who were both at the Council, worked to rectify this error so the Church as a whole can finally correctly understand V2. We are now seeing the fruit of their efforts.

@AnthonyLourdes7 @AuditeInsulae The only place the Church is really growing is Africa, but the faith is new in most areas there so it’s not super fair to compare. African bishops also tend to be way more conservative than other parts of the world

@SSPXEnjoyer @AuditeInsulae Germany and Belgium thought to attempt to change/water down the message of the Church and to “Catholic Lite” which is why they are now heading to “Catholic Zero” - Where we maintain orthodoxy and seek to evangelize in the way V2 intended, there the Church is now growing.

@AuditeInsulae @carbo_al The Novus Ordo are innovators. Innovators in religion are dangerous entities. The Vatican 2 sect has been tainted by the modern world and the new theology which teaches heresy. All of those in the Novus Ordo are guilty of the sins of heresy and schism.

@SSPXEnjoyer @AuditeInsulae I’m telling you. It’s more common place these days than you can imagine. I attend the TLM but when I’ve attended an NO mass on occasion in the past few years I’ve been pleasantly surprised; This new generation of seminarians is very conservative.

@ThxTom90228 @AuditeInsulae Not to mention all the sex scandals. Moving around priests in some cases from country to another avoid prosecution. One SSPX priest was sentenced to 19 years for rape and torture. Kansas Bureau of Investigation is investigating a number of abuses by SSPX clergy in St. Mary’s.

@AuditeInsulae People are finally figuring out SSPX are the biggest liars and con men around. They construct stupid, elaborate, fake, legalistic arguments to wow simple people who have no idea about canon law or theology. It sounds good, but is total BS.

I invite you to find a parish holding reverent NO masses w/ confession + adoration 5x/week and attend Mass there one Sunday.

@SimpleQuivs @AuditeInsulae A friend who left the SSPX who came back to the Church reminded me “I can’t love the Mass more than I love the Church Christ gave us.” He also left the SSPX because he said it felt like a cult.

@AuditeInsulae The NO experience is watered down thin gruel. I go SSPX whenever I can and it’s always amazing. When I’m traveling I’m almost always stuck with NO and it’s anemic. If you have focus and a ton of devotion you can get by with the NO but it’s almost impossible to be your best

@AuditeInsulae No, he didn’t say that those in ordinary parishes are not Catholic. Where did you see that? The ordinary parish is full of irreverent and protestantized liturgy, questionable preaching, etc

@AuditeInsulae The Church is growing in places where V2 is correctly understood and implemented - There you will find increasing seriousness and orthodoxy. Where V2 is misinterpreted and thus mis-implemented, there you will “Catholic Lite” which ultimately leads to “Catholic Zero.”

@zvonimir_tosic @Missioncritcal1 @AuditeInsulae My experience is the ordinary churches are GROWING. Provided they celebrate reverent masses, hold adoration 5x/week, and offer confession 5x/week. I invite you to attend at an “ordinary” parish that does that and you will see what I mean.

@Missioncritcal1 @AuditeInsulae The 'ordinary' churches are emptied because of the habitual SACRILEGE happening there daily: communion on hands. Ordinary parishes can't enforce strict communion on tongue, unless they are TLM only. That's why God then empties those churches; to protect the elect from sacrilege.

@Missioncritcal1 @AuditeInsulae I invite you to atrend mass at a parish with reverent NO masses, where adoration is held 5 days a week, and where confession is held 5 days a week, and chances are you will find a thriving parish which nourishes the faith of the faithful.

Not everyone in the SSPX is a bad actor. But radtrad groups attract precisely those who want to operate outside of accountability. The problem with putting yourself in the place of a Donatist church of the 'pure' is there is a lot of potential for abuse of power, money, & sex.

@StMichael71 But the SSPX is a cult … they place Marcel Lefebvre as the rule of faith and not the Church which Christ said is indefectible. They believe Lefebvre more than Christ. Pray for them.

In addition, they have lots of incentive to cover it up with purported revelations, appeals to strictness and self-denial, and so forth. These groups readily degenerate into cults. A Church even imperfectly open to self-criticism & accountability is a much better, safer option.

@StMichael71 #facts Many abuse problems in the SSPX. They don’t have the same oversight the Catholic Church has after Pope Francis instituted a 0 tolerance policy. B/c they don’t have as many benefactors if the abuser is a significant contributor, the local chapel priest looks the other way.

You probably didn't know this, but Antonio Vivaldi was an ordained Catholic priest. He stopped saying Mass within a year, though he remained devout for the rest of his life, and spent the next four decades writing 500 concertos and teaching music at a Venetian orphanage.
