They signed Nico Gonzalez for £65m in 2025 January window just because Rodri got injured, he wasn’t good enough, and they binned him. They signed Reijnders last summer for £70m, used him for a few games, he wasn’t good enough, they binned him instantly. Now they’re about to sign Elliot Anderson for £100m. That’s close to £250m spent on a single position in the space of a year, no other club has that kind of financial luxury. This is what Arsenal are up against, financial cheats with endless pool of blood money. All their trophies are asterisked in my eyes.
Fabrizio Romano@FabrizioRomano

🚨 Manchester City are prepared to make a very important financial proposal to Elliot Anderson, leading the race as revealed since March. Manchester United still attentive and keen if Man City deal won’t happen. Nothing advanced with Forest yet. 🎥 youtu.be/3Ig8tR8OcHs

I used to think it’s only in the movies that dogs seem to understand people.. till we had a German shepherd.. That dog doesn’t eat bread without butter.. he doesn’t eat raw meat too… yup he has many ajebo qualities 😭 My bro has warned him to never climb the sofa again, so….one day I came back from sch and saw him in the parlor resting… I called his name and told him that my bro is at the gate calling him. What he did after shocks me till date… he came out and went to the gate, sniff it and then turn around and went directly to the boys quarters where my bro is…

After securing the title on Sunday, Vincent Kompany told his players in the dressing room: "None of you should take it for granted that you get to play in such a united and successful team" He then went on to mention by name: Lennart Karl, Luis Díaz, Nicolas Jackson, Tom Bischof, but also youth players like Bara Sapoko Ndiaye, Deniz Ofli, and other youngsters who made their debuts this season - all of whom, Kompany said, have won their first Bundesliga title. The coach then added to the whole team: "Every single one of you should celebrate this 35th league title as if it were your first. There has to be a party, but everything in due time" [@SPORTBILD]

In 2015 , an igbo business man in my state was kidnapped. Bro was 16 yrs happily married with 4 kids. They asked for ₦12M ransom... Bro told the wife on phone that she shouldn't dare to pay that money, his time has come and he gladly accepts fate. "Use the money train my boys"

Whenever I say anything and get dragged, in less than 3 days, a post comes out to validate my opinion. Drag me from now till thy kingdom come, I insist that paying ransom to kidnappers only enables them. It will not be my portion but if it ever happens, nobody should pay shishi.

Man, this does not look good at all. You are grasping at straws here. Being an ambassador does not automatically mean someone is on the payroll of a government or organization. Ambassadorship takes many forms. I am an ambassador for my own institution and receive no payment for it. I think part of what is happening here is that many of us have lived within the Nigerian context for so long that the idea of a Nigerian who operates differently becomes genuinely incomprehensible to us. There is also, unfortunately, a pattern of resentment I have noticed that sometimes emerges toward Nigerians who have built platforms or achieved visibility — where success is read as competition rather than inspiration, and people feel compelled to diminish them rather than engage honestly. How else do you explain making such a bold claim about someone you clearly do not know, with no evidence, in what appears to be a deliberate attempt to “drag” @Tunde_OD name? For impressions? Clout? Or is this simply what unchecked histrionic personality disorder looks like on a public timeline? If you have substantive criticism, make it with evidence. Otherwise this says far more about you than it does about him.

What NASA’s Artemis II Astronauts Actually Eat on the Way to the Moon NASA just sent four astronauts around the Moon for 10 days. Here is what they actually ate up there. 189 unique menu items. Beef brisket. Macaroni and cheese. Broccoli au gratin. Mango salad. Vegetable quiche. Butternut squash. Cookies. Chocolate. 58 tortillas. This is not a restaurant menu. This is what Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen had access to inside the Orion spacecraft on the Artemis II mission. Tortillas are the bread of space. No crumbs floating into the instruments. You fill them, fold them, eat them. Clean and practical in zero gravity. The same reason bread has never made it to space. Floating crumbs and spacecraft electronics do not mix. For drinks, they had over 10 options. Coffee, green tea, cocoa, lemonade, mango-peach smoothie, apple cider, pineapple drink, and three flavours of breakfast drinks in chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. Each astronaut was limited to two flavoured beverages per day because of weight restrictions on the spacecraft. Across all four crew members for 10 days, NASA packed exactly 43 cups of coffee. They counted the cups. They also packed five different types of hot sauce. The reason is fascinating. Astronauts get congested in space because body fluids shift upward in microgravity, the same way you feel blocked up when you have a cold. That congestion dulls your sense of taste. So astronauts need stronger flavours to actually enjoy their food. Hot sauce solves that problem. Some meals were freeze-dried and required water to prepare, like the mac and cheese and shrimp curry. Others like granola, cookies, and nuts were ready to eat straight from the pack. The beef brisket was irradiated, meaning exposed to gamma rays to kill bacteria and extend shelf life without refrigeration. A briefcase-style food warmer let them heat meals, something the Apollo astronauts never had. Apollo crews were eating food squeezed from tubes. Artemis II crew was eating warm brisket on the way to the Moon. Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen brought five Canadian food items from home. Wild keta salmon bites, shrimp curry, strawberry lavender superseed cereal, maple cream cookies, and maple syrup. You can take the astronaut out of Canada but you cannot take Canada out of the astronaut. No fresh food made the trip, No refrigeration on Orion, No resupply ships in deep space. Everything had to be shelf-stable, safe, and edible for the entire duration of the mission from launch to splashdown. The crew tasted and rated all 189 items before launch during four one-hour tasting sessions, and their preferences shaped the final menu. Space food has come a long way. But the real test is still ahead. Mars is a two to three year round trip. Whatever they are eating on Artemis II will need serious upgrades before humans can survive that journey on food alone. For now though, 58 tortillas and 43 cups of coffee around the Moon sounds like a decent start.

A corpse was dumped at a street in Akute on Sunday. A woman claimed to have seen some guys on bike last Sunday night dumping a body. She tried challenging them but was scared of meeting the same fate. The shop owners in the street reported the incident to the police but they were asked to bring money before taking the corpse. They all went to the local government and they were told that they would be burying the corpse themselves since it happened in their street. They are paid a sum of 150k to get him buried and their shop front fumigated.

SAMBO@_Abdulakeem_

I got updates from the beneficiaries not long ago, and they have all come out to post evidence of how well the new vendor delivered. And to also add, thanks to Abazz, they ended up receiving two jerseys each after he refused to collect back the first ones he sent, even after stating in his previous post that he would. This further proves the point that the first jerseys delivered did not meet the expected standard because why would he want to lose a whole 300k. This is to Abazz. When issues arise, there’s no need to act based on emotions. After I called you out for not allowing me pick the winners, every step that followed seemed driven by anger. You knew what you did when those jerseys were sent out, but you assumed people would accept them that way. Not everyone is willing to be cheated. If I hadn’t spoken up, those beneficiaries would have ended up with jerseys they couldn’t confidently wear. Imagine receiving something like that as a gift from a top footballer. Imagine the excitement of being selected, only to receive something far below expectation. That would have been disappointing. I’m sure you’ve learnt from this, because situations like this affect trust and brand reputation. I hope you do better going forward. To Abazz’s friends and supporters. I hope you can now see for yourselves what blind followership looks like. Many of you were quick to call me names without taking time to understand why I spoke up in the first place. I’m sure a good number of small accounts must have had similar experience but swept under the carpet. It’s high time everything stopped. At this point, it’s only fair to acknowledge what has been revealed. If you’re looking to get a quality jersey from a reliable vendor, kindly reach out to @Ayomide0078 , he has proven himself and delivered excellently. Thank you all for your attention throughout the saga. Sambo.

You all really need to take research more seriously before producing movies. This is exactly why Nollywood is often not taken seriously, these days, it feels like just anyone can put out a film without proper depth or accuracy. If you had done thorough research, you wouldn’t have ended up making this kind of movie. And let me be clear, we do not worship the same God. Our God is not the author of confusion. He does not reveal Himself one way and then contradict Himself in another. As Christians, we worship Jesus, the One Muslims reject as Savior and reduce to only a prophet, denying His death and resurrection. To be a Christian, you must confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead (Romans 10:9). In Islam, however, becoming a Muslim requires reciting the shahada, declaring that Allah is god and Muhammad is his prophet. These are two completely different beliefs, pointing to two different understandings of God. Again, God is not the author of confusion. We do not accept Muhammad as a prophet, and we do not recognize the god he introduced. As Christians, we know God as Yahweh, His covenant name who revealed Himself, took on human form in Jesus Christ, walked among us, and ultimately gave His life for our salvation. The Allah of the Quran does not do this. So no, we do not serve the same God. Madam Toyin.

This morning on my way to work, I took a Keke from Ilupeju to Anthony. There were three of us seated at the back, I sat close to the entrance, while a lady sat in the middle. She greeted me, then brought out a church pamphlet and handed it to the woman beside her, then to me. I politely declined, nodding and saying, “Thank you, ma.” That should have been the end, but she asked why I didn’t want to collect it. I simply said, “Nothing,” without engaging further. She then asked if I was Muslim. I replied, “Yes.” She went on to say it doesn't matter, that many Muslims attend their church program, describing it as a prayer session open to everyone irrespective of religion, then says, they're gifts for non-Christians, and that she would love to see me there. At that point, I was already getting uncomfortable, so I responded, “I’m a Muslim. If I invited you to a mosque, would you come?” She didn’t answer directly, just said, “May God be with you.” I replied her, “And you too.”
