So most of the comments thankfully aren't like this thankfully, but some of y'all do need to stop telling people we just don't need bras and are being silly and patriarchal by buying them or whatever. Some of us want support and comfort, which bras are supposed to do.

@twitchyspoonie From what we understand, at least for ours (mid lower back) the 5+ hook bras or front clasp with wide band where best because they provided better pressure distribution. We ended up liking front clasp best personally because it was easier to put on without extra back strain.

@twitchyspoonie We saw the cost of the bras for our size (we have odd proportions and the tailor who fitted us specifically wanted to make sure the bra we got factored in our scoliosis as well) and expected only 1 and she bought us 4 😭😭 we love her so much.

@twitchyspoonie Also shout out to our step mom, one of the first things she did after she married our dad was taking us and our sisters to get professionally fitted and bought us new bras because she figured a single dad likely didn't even consider that as something that needed to be done.

@twitchyspoonie Like, pre reduction without a bra we'd have spine issues (on top of our scoliosis) when we didn't wear one, we generally had to put one on to even go to the bathroom in the middle of the night to avoid being stuck in bed for days due to spinal pain flairs.

@r0ckd0rkrodcork And by "funny" we mean absolutely terrifying. Majority of the time a bear doesn't want to interact with humans and will just leave unless you have food on you it wants to acquire, then it will usually wait until you leave the food unsupervised and grab it.

@r0ckd0rkrodcork The "funny" part is, as someones who grew up in the bush and had to know bears/bear safety, statistically the random man is more likely to cause you harm unless it's a mama bear protecting cubs or food has been REALLY scarce (like really, they will choose hares and such first).
