I was so excited when I thought this was an app to protect libraries and books from censorship and burning 😭

Over the last few months, I’ve been advising @bookprotectors: a new app for ordering an on-demand security detail. Or more simply: Uber with guns. Today, they’re debuting in Los Angeles and NYC at No. 3 on the App Store. If you have a hot date this weekend, pick her up in a Protector.

@divergentfemme I have some other projects in the works that I’ll probably need to cast for! I’ll definitely let you know 💖

I can’t tell if Elon naming his government agency DOGE is a clever wink to medieval Venice’s doges and his deranged oligarchical ambitions, or if it’s just a coincidence palazzoducale.visitmuve.it/en/the-museum/…

@whatnextpdx @badlin @loganb @loganforseattle Sorry, here’s the link to the report seattle.gov/documents/Depa…

@whatnextpdx @badlin @loganb @loganforseattle I was terrified of drugs due to my mom’s drug abuse so coffee was my only vice. My little sister was not so lucky. This report compiles interesting data about how many people become homeless after a loved one dies, and how many people die of homelessness shortly after eviction
English

@whatnextpdx @badlin @loganb @loganforseattle I don’t know how old you are, but homelessness on this scale was not normal in the 80s. Policies have led to our economy being as bad as the economic disparity of France just before the revolution. So is it the “peasant” population or the wealthy classes destroying urban cores?
English

@SabraMBoyd @badlin @Jerinap @loganb @loganforseattle I have no interest in spending a night on the streets.
The point I'm making is that homeless are destroying the urban cores of SF, PDX, etc. I don't think that's fair to hardworking folks trying to provide for themselves and their family - while contributing to community.
