Re: the Michael Oher story—every time an adoptee speaks out about the abuse or lies or unethical practices they were subjected to by their adoptive parent, what is deeply disturbing to me is that the same sentiment comes up every time that adoptees should “just be grateful”.

Britney Spears wasn't "speaking gibberish". She was angry and clearly says "Look at that!" because she knows that people are filming her for no good reason, so she was giving them a reason. Clearly she was pissed at her privacy being invaded while out with Sam.
