@virginmedia No texts or emails. I called and was told as it’s “an area problem” an engineer won’t come to one house… which begs the question why I was told they were coming to our house and I’d be charged £25 if I wasn’t home all afternoon - and I have a text confirming the appointment!

@virginmedia intermittent outages continues for a 6th day in PA7. You were able to communicate the 13% price hike 2 weeks ago, so I’d like to know whether you plan to sort the problem out or should I just switch to another provider now? 🤔 #virginmediadown

@virginmedia The engineer didn’t bother to show up. Cannot say I’m surprised the way this entire saga is going… When are you going to actually tell your customers in PA7 what the issue is?

@virginmedia It says there’s a problem with my service… same as it has for the past 9 days now. Engineer is booked for tomorrow - hopefully they turn up..

@virginmedia Service has been dropping out on and off all evening too despite your automated texts saying it’s fine. In more than 15 years as a #virginmedia customer I’ve never known such dreadful service. Researching the competition on my 4G!

@virginmedia Finally spoke to “Taylor” on 150 who did not understand that ‘intermittent’ loss of service means it could be working when an engineer arrives and went to great lengths to tell me I would be charged £25 if it’s working when the engineer arrives 🤦🏻‍♀️

@virginmedia Same as every other day - by around 10pm at night - but service is intermittent: it comes on and off. Then once it’s working again we start the cycle the next day..

@virginmedia That number runs the same check as the ones we are doing daily when service cuts out. The recorded message says “there is an outage in your area” and to click the link in a text … which then takes me back to the service status checked 🤦🏻‍♀️ Could you actually provide a fix please?

@virginmedia I already checked - I keep getting updates every few hours to say service is on, then off, then on, then off….. if the issue is with the whole postcode (according to your updates) I didn’t think I needed to book an engineer?
