Rewatched this morning. First half didn’t work at all. Long balls up but Naderi didn’t keep possession and midfield was too far away. 2nd half a bit better but we stopped after getting the goal and by the end it was very ragged. Need creativity on the wings (obviously) but also a hell of a lot more control in midfield.

This. Having a team that has no pace, canny press, playing everything infront of the opposition with no threat in behind is too predictable, too slow and too boring and too easy to play against. We need pace badly or it will be another season of long ball pish struggling to create or break teams down.
