I mean, no disrespect to Louis - I’m grateful for the highlight - but for God’s sake… Women get killed by their partner every week. Tiny Man Tate has been a thing for years. Domestic violence shelters are overwhelmed. Women have been waving the red flags about incels and attitudes for years. We’ve been begging for change. We’ve been highlighting the serious threat of anti-women social media. Then a MAN makes a documentary and suddenly everyone’s interested? Do you not all think that this might be part of the problem?

You know what today has taught me? That “inclusion & diversity” doesn’t mean a goddamn thing when it comes to people with neurological/physical disabilities. The lack of awareness or understanding is exactly WHY films like “I Swear” are so important. It’s an embarrassment.

This intelligent young Black woman with Tourette’s Syndrome explains the incident at the BAFTAs and how Tourette’s affects the person living with the condition. Her race shouldn’t need mentioning, but unfortunately too many people have reacted emotionally to this situation and need a Black woman to explain why someone with Tourette’s who is white is not vocalising profanities toward Black people simply because they’re racist. We need more logic and critical thinking, as this woman brilliantly demonstrates, and fewer snap judgements driven solely by emotion.

So a man invited to the BAFTA’s as inspiration for a film demonstrating the horrific hostility and lack of understanding people with Tourette’s face… is now facing horrific hostility and a lack of understanding over his Tourette’s? Have I got that right? 🤦

4 years ago today I got LOT tickets for like £80 each, today the same seats (roughly) sold for over £300?!?

I would genuinely love artists to sit down in front of a camera and justify why they’re gonna charge their fans over £200 for a concert ticket. Especially when they increase the costs each tour. A £330 concert ticket is £3.66 PER MINUTE for a standard 90 minute show!!!
