Taunt recruited me in 2012 and gave me an opportunity to play college baseball.
I wouldn’t be where I am today without his belief and support. He’s one of the best baseball minds that I’ve ever been around.

Airport advice at 4am:
The D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO coach that you ignore today might end up at a D1 program — or know someone who already is. Coaches talk.
Moral of the story: Don’t “big league” coaches who take time out of their day to reach out to you. Respond.

I played for Rock when he took over in ‘16 and ‘17, and am fortunate enough that he brought me onto his staff in 2018.
He’s taught me a ton, and I’m thankful to call him a friend. Congrats on 200 dubs. Onto the next.
