@_GameSquid Also how the gatcha is consumer friendly and resources are plentiful. I also think the menu is very simple and progression is so easy. Other gatchas give you thousands of things to update just for stat boosts and limbus only asks upties and levels, and you get a art and plot.

@Lradonkey05 Sorta. Definitely agree in story. But gameplay, it's just a lot more simple on the surface, ironically. Also more unique.

Decided to download 'Neverness to Everness' (NTE) and sample it. Did Ch0 and messed around in the... unique gacha. Then "free" Daffodil. First impressions right off the bat, I'm not really certain I'm feeling it. The setting looks moderately cool, but just looking at some of the way it's presented, it does really remind me of a lot of miHoyo works, particularly Genshin and Zenless. Even some smaller elements like the character viewer, that's just Zenless. The gameplay was serviceable, I guess. Not much to write home about. Maybe it'll be better if I really delve into it? But damn, I have to do building characters and stuff like Zenless. I suddenly miss Limbus's style of team comps. The characters mostly look fine, though they do seem to still look like "they sexy. You like?" The CG scenes are animated well, but I also think the way they portray some characters and events to be really tryhard. They really go overboard with the funniest anime aesthetic at times and I find it rather distracting. When it's not CG, it's boring to look at and it not being in a Visual Novel format hurts it since if it was VN, you can excuse the lack of effort since it's just talking portraits, even though there's ways to make even that looks interesting, but shut up. Sampled the game in Chinese and Japanese because I wasn't gonna listen to this in English. Those are my first thoughts, and I'd say there's a high chance I'll just bounce off it. I'll do a little bit more and then consider keeping around or just deleting it.
