On Thursday, March 19, 2026, at approximately 6:55 p.m., Bellevue Police Officers responded to the northbound on-ramp, from Chandler Road onto John F. Kennedy Freeway (Hwy 75), regarding a single-vehicle rollover crash, in which the driver was ejected from the vehicle. Officers and Bellevue Emergency Medical Personnel performed life saving measures on the male driver. He was transported to a metro area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, has been identified as 23-year-old, Matthew Adkins of Bellevue. At this time, no additional information will be released as the crash remains under investigation.
