Working on Vercel’s CDN, mostly cache stuff. Previously was trying to modernize insurance and before that crying (studying) in Waterloo

@typesafeui @rauchg @dok2001 @Cloudflare @nextjs Hi Vercel Infra engineer here 👋 we added rules to the Vercel platform to mitigate, and while that should offer protection we are still strongly recommending upgrading to patched versions of next.js and react.

. @Cloudflare has deployed a new WAF rule to protect customers from a Remote Code Execution vuln that impacts React Server Components (CVE-2025-55182) used in frameworks like @nextjs . No action needed; the rule is enabled by default. You can learn more in our blog post blog.cloudflare.com/waf-rules-reac…
React@reactjs

There is critical vulnerability in React Server Components disclosed as CVE-2025-55182 that impacts React 19 and frameworks that use it. A fix has been published in React versions 19.0.1, 19.1.2, and 19.2.1. We recommend upgrading immediately. react.dev/blog/2025/12/0…

Given our realisation that *actually, @jazz_tools is a database* (see QT)... ...we're hosting another meetup in SF this Wednesday! (RSVP below!) Thinking of Jazz as a DB begs the question: how does it fit into the stack? One thing that's clear is: there is actually a lot of pressure on app builders because app requirements have become so much more complex. We think it's time to rethink the stack. Proud for the event to be co-sponsored by @vercel! You'll also hear from @LubaKravche about Cache, CDN and Fluid Compute which give you much more flexible, cost-effective and performant versions of traditional infra abstractions.

Jazz - the DB that syncs@jazz_tools

narrative update Jazz isn’t replacing databases and backends Jazz isn’t local-first only Jazz isn’t a sync engine only Jazz is simply a *new kind* of database 🧵

My goal was to simplify caching on Vercel for anyone who has the caching docs open in a tab to eventually understand wtf is going on. did I (cache) miss anything?

Watch @LubaKravche's Ship 2025 session to learn how Vercel's framework-defined infrastructure simplifies caching and content delivery. See how it works, the difference between CDN and runtime caches, and a deep dive into revalidation with Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR).
