@ivanburazin Absolutely agree with that. I would wager security issues will be the first to surface.

@dok2001 Not saying scale was the root cause in every incident. Also not an exhaustive list The point is broader: infra across the board is starting to feel pressure from agent-driven workloads. This isn’t criticism, it’s an observation of where things are heading

GitHub ,Google, Cloudflare don't have outages because they're badly run. The sheer volume of requests (mostly from agents now) breaks everything at that scale. We thought we'd cracked horizontal scale but now it's back to square one again. Agentic ai broke the infrastructure that worked for 20 years.

Trying CloudFlare pages for the first time, I like it. I could see this quickly becoming my new fav for static web hosting. First site I'm putting on it, PresidioHeights(.)com, a domain I own because it happens to be my absolutely favorite neighborhood in SF.

Sent a DM with the info. The mitigation has been lifted so the endpoint is accessible again. However: 1) Why was several of our workers flagged as phishing, was this manually reported or an automatic detection? 2) What safeguards in the future will prevent this from affecting important APIs from being blocked. Being blocked for several hours before it is reviewed is unacceptable for an important endpoint. Should there be a notificaiton period before a website or api is blocked?

This blocked endpoint returns 2kb of JSON: geo-location and i18n, for a cookie banner. Fortunately only 1 site is affected (c15t.com) - rest of our customers are safe, but who knows when that changes.

thoughts after day 1 of using pi full time - less is more - i don't miss subagents like i thought i would - /tree is an insanely good context management primitive (and partially why i havent reached for subagents yet) - based only on vibes, i think having a minimum system prompt is improving code quality - telling pi to copy opencodes webfetch and websearch tools was a good play

if you're curious, this is what peak looks like for me its when i was spending most hours building sentry. i had clean design, i had the ability to iterate fast, and i had clear progression the second image is the last year where i'm certainly able to generate a lot more code, but i can tell you that the code is far less maintainable (despite how much effort I put into it) i have not gotten less knowledgeable as an engineer, and while technology has certainly gotten needlessly complex, there's something here that is hard to articulate about the current state of LLMs...

im fully convinced that LLMs are not an actual net productivity boost (today) they remove the barrier to get started, but they create increasingly complex software which does not appear to be maintainable so far, in my situations, they appear to slow down long term velocity
