I'm curating a group of founders for a week in Gozo.  Not a conference. Not a course. A villa, a whiteboard, and people who actually ship. I'm Luca, I've built 7 companies and done €3M+ in revenue. I'm looking for the next people worth knowing.

I'd rather try and fail than not try at all. Sometimes this means I launch ideas with 80% effort. That's enough to test whether the idea is worth pursuing. If the market reacts, I hire people more talented than me to finish the last 20% I'm not lazy, I'm just wired this way

Mapping this out for myself has changed how I operate

Starting a podcast with three of my best mates has been the best idea ever. We're meeting weekly and chatting and catching up on news that we follow independently, process differently, and converge with ideas

The more I meet CEOs of companies doing what seems to be incredible things, the more obvious it is that this entire world is built out of spaghetti

I’ve spent the last 5 years travelling the world Looking for my second home I’d arrive to the beachfront and look out at the horizon Thinking wow how lucky am I A week would pass and id find a new routine The supermarket for my day to day needs The yoga class on a Thursday evening The friends that just moved there too A month would pass and id still be wondering Is this it? Is this home? Then month 2 would hit And I’d be feeling blue again Missing home, feeling like a stranger Wondering if I’m just hiding Wondering if I’m ok So id pack my bag and find another place The cycle repeated over and over Thailand, Portugal, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Belgium, UK Every time I’d fall in love with the place Only to leave with an empty space I started to think that home is not a place Its a feeling you have with people To feel comfortable, to be in your zone People who make you feel seen Who look beyond what you post behind the screen My heart aches for you even though I left you on seen I miss you and I don’t know what to do

@DarioAmodei @AnthropicAI apparently the browser version of claude is missing the record function entirely and has only voice mode. (voice mode does not work)

@DarioAmodei @AnthropicAI please fix the dictation on claude! When I try send a voice note it never stops recording. If I press stop it will delete the voice message i just recorded very frustrating after sharing your thoughts to lose everything you just expressed My friend @rikventure @brochchain also confirmed this is not just a 'me' problem!!

I’ve got an unfair advantage over my local peers I’ve been competing with the world’s brightest minds in tech for the last 5 years There have been times where I won contracts with billion dollar companies Competing with executives twice my age, twice my budget and born in the USA🇺🇸 You heard that right An island boy from the Mediterranean 🏝️ Had the audacity to beat the world’s best at their own game But now I’m turning my focus local To the micro market of Malta Not because it’s easy But because this island deserves the same calibre of ambition I’ve been bringing to the world stage Back when I was a university student my professor once told me “Luca, do you want to be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond?” Well I’ve been the small fish in a big pond and I’ve grown into a shark 🦈 Now I’m bringing that energy home Malta made me…it’s time I returned the favour.

@Gonzohall Facts hot tubs and saunas Just not many saunas have inspiring views I need to find some sunset / sunrise saunas

Founders should seat on a hot tub: - alone once a week - With other founder twice a week It's the minimal viable dose for peak founding brain. Need to introduce this soon in @PrósperaGlobal
