This is really hard to write but so many of you have loved and cared about Ben that I wanted to let you know. We found out today the cancer had spread throughout Bens organs and there was nothing left we could do-we had to let him go. I’ve had dogs my whole life but Ben was 1 on 1. He was smart-loving-gentle-patient-inquisitive-and welcoming to all. Always a big smile and a soft tail wag. He and I could communicate..he and I understood each other and had each others backs. He was with me more than anyone at home and traveling with me for work. Such an easy going companion. Hard day-but he will live within all of us forever. God please bless his majestic soul and thank you for putting him in my life for the last 10 years-a true blessing. Love you Ben. 🙏🏼

I played practice sets against Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Steve Johnson, and more when I was 17 and ranked 1 in the country. I understand the level of the top tennis pros. Pickleball requires more skill in several aspects.

What people who don’t actually play the sport don’t realize is just because you are practicing at a high intensity doesn’t mean you are match ready. Match fit is a lot more than just ripping balls up the middle. Rafa isn’t going to play the event if he thinks he can’t win it all.

@kiser_rollin I don’t knock that! Personally think they’re the 5th best team overall but they very much are a lock to get in. Def don’t feel the same way about FSU regardless of them being 13-0 or not.

@dschneider916 Agreed, I think Wash has done enough to deserve a spot, but if it’s about the best 4 teams I still think they should be on outside looking in. FSU being undefeated (along with Travis injury) means less to me given their schedule and eye test but what do I know lol
