It should be obvious that women, who make up three quarters of the teachers in the UK, should be able to work as teachers and if they have children, be able to take care of them. This should not be difficult to understand. The working reality of being a teacher must change.

@Miss_Snuffy At my son’s prospective school open day, I asked about male teachers They said they were desperate for them too Are there particular roles you think men are better suited for in schools? Or is it more of an osmosis type benefit where their presence alone is beneficial?

I feel for Heads in this position. How are they meant to run a school without teachers? Hold us to account all you want but without teachers, the school is stuffed.
