My kind of conversation is one about the direction of human civilisation for the 22nd century. The idea that { government = country = fixed number of states = racially or geographically restricted zones } is an outdated concept for a pre-internet species.

(here's an odd question) Would you be more excited, or afraid, if scientists one day discovered an object that appeared to 'break' the law of gravity? and Why?

If everyone shouting "my choice" about abortions could have done so about vaccines then I could have respected the ideological consistency of a principled viewpoint enough to grant their opinions have ANY moral weight. (nvm the incorrect legal view thinking it's now illegal).

Left going crazy Roe v. Wade was overturned. Right celebrating. Ruling only prevents at fed. level. Could still pass locally + some places will. Geography remains a barrier. But fed. gov. retains power to financially distribute taxes to support it. Nothing changed, humans crazy.

Sentient beings are infinitely diverse, no two being equal of mind, thus were free will a granted sentient right and were democracy not mere illusion, there should rightly be a dynamically shifting number of countries and states, catering to its users will, not controlling them.

8 billion humans ++ new generations, constrained within approximately 200(ish) countries, with (by my estimation) fewer than a dozen unique models of government. The implication being no further improvement on the systems of population governance is possible. It. Is. Illogical.

3/ The current model is a prisoners dilemma iterated upon generation by generation over millennia and engrained into the primal subconscious. Freeing ones thought patterns of the limitations of its species is first in escaping this architecture of tyranny. Liberty of the mind.

2/ Until such time, humanity has enslaved itself to a flawed design, whereby the organism of the State has expanded beyond the scope of restrictions and regulations against criminal actors, and seeks primarily it's own survival at the cost of its purposive function.

1/ Conceptually, civilisation ought be approached as an organic system design challenge, wherein the State is but one mechanism, granted express authority yet limited by purposive function: minimise net negative social & criminal behaviour, maximise human potential and liberty.

Of all the dystopian future Sci Fi, planet of the apes wasn't my favourite as a concept, but it seems that's the one we're getting.
