Two years ago Stevens won Executive of the Year for how he was able to acquire Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday. This year he won it for how he was able to get rid of them.

It might seem weird, but this goes down as a clutch play in my book. Philly had a little momentum & that runout could have made it a 12 or 11 point game. Instead Jaylen gets the steal & 3 and Philly never challenged after that.

We could get rid of the 65-game rule and not have to worry about appeals if the NBA tracked stats based on totals instead of per game averages.

Nikola Jokić is the first player to lead the NBA in both rebounds and assists per game in a season since 1969-70, when leaders began to be determined by per-game averages. Wilt Chamberlain led the NBA in both categories in 1967-68, when leaders were determined by totals.
