You're not undisciplined. You're under-regulated. Discipline is a downstream property of a regulated nervous system. You can't willpower your way into a state your biology won't let you access. State before strategy.

Most retail trading education is built on a fantasy learn the setup memorize the rules wait for the signal repeat the sequence get paid That's not professional trading. Professional trading is not the removal of judgment. It is the development of judgment under uncertainty. The actual job is learning to ask What state is the market in? What action is worth taking from here? How much risk does it deserve? What path can I survive? What did the feedback actually teach me? A setup is not an edge. It is a trigger inside a state. The pattern does not make the decision for you. It only gives you something to evaluate.

Un neurólogo de Zúrich dijo: El cerebro no se agota por el estrés, se agota por el exceso de pensamiento emocional (y la cura es sorprendentemente física). Encontró el antídoto en algo sorprendentemente simple: Interrupción física.

MrBeast reveals how he lost 50 lbs "I'm very heavily influenced by the people around me. If I spend too much time with you I'll start speaking, acting, and thinking like you. So, I just put a lot of jacked people around me" "My old friend group just ordered pizza all the time, and it just makes accomplishing my goals so much harder. I'm so all in on business, I don't think about this kind of stuff, so I need an environment that just makes being jacked very natural" "Weightlifting is pretty easy, but it's the food that you have to be consistent on for a very long period if you want to achieve results. I just surround myself with other people trying to accomplish the same thing just like anything in life"

You don’t realize enough how contagious humans are... relentlessly remove the negative. Roger Federer changed his dentist because he was too negative. Cut them out.

When traders say it took them (3-5) years To figure it out, They are not talking about technical analysis

"I just need one good trade to get back to even." You're not strategizing. You're negotiating with your own shame. The math isn't the problem. The math is the cover story for a nervous system that can't tolerate being wrong.

1/ Five skills stand between you and consistent execution. Most trading psychology has been shallow, long on motivation, short on mechanism. The clinical layer underneath has been missing. Here's the order. Thread.

I'm firmly of the belief that blowing up trading accounts for most amateur traders is an attempt to avoid the pain that continual losses inflict on them. To escape this type of continual pain, the trader oversizes and/or overtrades to blow up the trading account. Then they can either start fresh with a new account. Or walk away from trading. Sure, there is also pain in blowing up the account. But in the minds of many, it is more desirable than continually facing the chance that they may slowly bleed down an account day-after-day with losses. Awareness precedes control.

In trading, real progress does not feel like progress in the traditional sense. Feeling the pain of discipline is the only kind of progress that matters long-term.

Tough week for me. Losses Mon through Thurs. But on at least two of those days, was up after first trade and lost it all and then some after. Then today, finally got a good base hit. But didn’t check my copy trader like I should have and the trade didn’t copy across my other accounts. A lot of times, I would gotten really frustrated by this and tilted into more trades. Didn’t today though. I will take that as my most important win this week.

I take between 2 to 3 trades a day and that target about 50 to 100 points typically trading with small size per account compounding with multiple accounts to limit risk overall. Since I’ve done that, my psychology and win rate and ability to play, my rules went through the roof.
