@LucyFitschen is a second year PhD student at Molecular Horizons in the @gokhan_tolun Lab. She is investigating the structure of bacteriophage lambda proteins from the single-strand annealing pathway, by using cryo-EM. Lucy also has a stunning collection of party shirts! #IWD2023

Very excited and proud! 🤩 Of the 3 awards given at the @CCeMMP 2022 symposium, I've received the most popular talk award by the votes of the attendees, my students @mklambourne got the runner up for the best poster, @LucyFitschen received an honourable mention for the same. 🎉

#OpenDay @UOW We ran a tour of @MolHorizons including our @UOWcryoEM facility and demonstrated molecular visualisation in virtual reality (VR) with @LucyFitschen and @JhonatanReales. Students and parents told us that they were very impressed with our @uowresearch capabilities!😀
