Shocking behaviour from @virginmedia, my dad transferred his media account to his name after my mum passed away. You every so nicely increased his bill by £34per month. No changes to account aside from name. Lovely way to treat long standing customers. Ta da, moving to @SkyUK

@virginmedia So £34 is part of an annual price rise... I think not!! £3.50 is your normal price rise. Maybe you should look into your pricing system and learn how to keep customers happy...60% increase for a name change. We are going to the press!!

@virginmedia The person that dealt with my dads call today, said there was nothing they could do apart from apply a £4 discount. Ridiculous

@virginmedia It was the bereavement team that organised it without telling us! We only found out when the bill came through and phoned your team back
