the best creators on X built audiences around expertise not geography. i run AI benchmarks from Bangkok that reach engineers in San Francisco, Berlin, Tokyo, and Oman. the data is useful everywhere because inference optimization doesn't have a nationality.
rewarding regional impressions over global relevance punishes technical creators who serve a worldwide audience from smaller countries. by this logic i should abandon AI research and post Bangkok street food reviews because that's what "resonates locally."
the internet doesn't have borders. the best content shouldn't either.

I grew up in Europe and the United States, and I lost two jobs during COVID for going against the narratives on this platform. I eventually had to go into exile in Brazil for speaking out against the COVID measures.
All the money I’ve made just to survive came from selling vitamin D via @sunfluencer and from ad revenue on this platform. Unlike other influencers, I stayed independent and refused to take sponsorship deals.
Today, everything changed. With this new system, @nikitabier is effectively punishing everyone who doesn’t live in the U.S. or Europe but still has a Western audience, in a globalized world.
I’m already making only a fraction of what I made before speaking out against all of this, and now even that is being taken away from me.
What exactly am I supposed to do while trying to remain independent?

@KMBAussie @jayroo69 I hear ya, but this is pretty rapid change. With the influx of so many people, new housing, stores, etc, the underlying roads and infrastructure aren't able to handle it. Traffic issues, road conditions, not enough schools. It's an entire storm of issues, and really is a problem.

@KMBAussie @jayroo69 All due respect, friend, its exactly what's happening across many US states where the cost of living is cheaper. People are flocking here & wanting to make it like the place left. Our forests & farmland are being chewed up by neighborhoods, car washes and storage facilities.

@Mericamemed My guess is that its discontinued, so only a few sellers still list that exact model and can price it however they want. Doesn’t reflect real value, however. I bet if you found the 'current' model for the same drive, its likely cheaper. Shitty version of supply & demand, I guess.

Only recently managed to get that far, and then the server wipe happened. I checked everything new the game had to offer though.
