Let’s wait until these games actually launch. Right now, every upcoming title is either being hailed as a guaranteed hit or written off as a complete failure before anyone has even played it. There is a lot to get right. Game design, controls, weapon balance, anti-cheat, progression, endgame content, seasonal resets and long-term player retention all have to come together. Getting just one or two of those wrong can seriously hurt a game. @embark didn’t get everything right, but they got enough right to create a satisfying and successful game. These new arrivals have a very big wall to climb, and until they’re in players’ hands, they’re all still standing at the bottom looking up.

Arc Raiders devs clearly checked out pretty early on after launch. Theyre just now taking effective action against cheaters, which is most of the people still playing probably😁 Just too little too late for me, they had a roaring blaze thats been reduced to a campfire to share memories about when the game was decent. It's all good though, game was great on release and we've got Nakwon & Hunger coming soon. It's going to be a good time when theyre here.

@Tricky187 For starters I wouldve actually enforced suspensions for abusive voice comms and bans for cheats much earlier. You couldnt shoot at someone in that game without getting riddled with slurs or hearing someones life story.

@Sequisha They fell into an impossible situation, a small team that had no idea it would blow up like it did. Hey streamers got a few weeks of content out of it and made a few shillings. As you critique the developers I always wonder what would you do? What would you have done?

@CohhCarnage It really is, one thing Hunger and Nakwon really nail is the pacing. There's enough time spent on questing and PVE encounters that when you come across a player it's really meaningful.

@IngameAsylum Thanks brother, just the on-board de-esser in the DBX 286s. I haven't run its spectrum in a while but I do remember hitting a very "Ok, its actually doing something now" spot on the knobs.

@Sequisha Happy the move is done! Moving sucks! I remember you having a decent amount of audio processors, but damn I don't remember it being THAT many lol! It's hard to tell, but do you have a de-esser in there at all? If so, which one do you use? I'm all analog as well.

Finishing setting the rig up. From unpack to plugging wires in and it all just works. That's a good feeling indeed. I just moved, I hate doing it but this one went well.

@whitebearvt Yeah, Electro Voice makes excellent mics and speakers, the re 320 is much more affordable and still a great microphone.

@Sequisha that is quite the setup, I can't even begin to wrap my head around all that. Also is that an re20? love that mic, defo my dream mic, one day I'll get my hands on one.

@Felsherrr The software audio puts you at the mercy of a bad update or compatibility issues. Analog doesn't discriminate.

@Sequisha Wow! When I setup my two PC setup with simple goXLR and shure mic, I struggle with the sound to make it work. Can’t imagine how you manage all that ! Respect ✊

No one asked buddy. A lot of it is antiquated from music projects or something I plan to use in the future for something music related. Also, I must say I haven't acquired any new equipment for this rack in several years. You clearly haven't been around many racks if you think its all being used.

@StarVibeCody @Sequisha No reason to have 99% of this, especially for just streaming. DBX 286 + Rodecaster Pro II does literally all of this. This is just what having too much money does, puts the blinders on.

POE ll's new league is killer. Delirium is a bit overtuned, but breach is awesome. Its been a lot of fun progressing through it. The main league mechanic is also decent, I like when you can experience most of the main event without leaving your map to another location.

@Trainwreckstv @summit1g it's wild. Every week there's a new face that I've never seen or heard of before who's pulling viral numbers. Seems legit.

it doesn't even take today's generation of streamer 30 minutes to hit peak viewership, it takes them less, and they hold exactly what they pull in the starting minutes across all sections/games, with camera, without camera, it doesn't matter, that is what makes it the most obvious. No new generation streamer truly understand viewership. They think because they get 300,000 likes on instagram that it makes sense to bot to 10K-30K live viewers, or because their tiktok is at millions of views or followers that the live viewership follows it 1:1. It never does, and it never will. Almost all viewbotters don't understand live viewership vs views, or vs likes. The worst part is, twitch doesn't understand it either. That's why the most blatant viewbotters of twitch are never effected by these "anti-viewbotting" programs and by not being effected it actually gives them even more credibility.

Streamer viewership peaks at around 3 hours. If a streamer is hitting their highest views in the first 30 minutes…….they are just built different I guess. :)
