It’s been 12 yrs since Luigi wrote this “paper”. Classmates described him as smart but humble, so it’s unsurprising he didn't say it was actually a thesis-like project sophomores at his school are given 3 months to work on. Luigi wrote his the night before. It won the 1st place.

@calmeilles Absolutely. Some cases also found that civilian clothes should be worn at trial in front of a judge (i.e. not a jury). But no strong precedent (e.g. SCOTUS ruling) has been established yet, so most don't even fight it, esp. at pretrial, and without a fight no rights are granted.

@Luigi_Archive It shouldn't be necessary: civilian clothes should be automatic for all appearances for all detained persons for exactly these reasons.

BREAKING: Federal prosecutors filed an objection to defense's proposed jury questionnaire questions - in turn revealing some of them - of which there will be over 80 in total. New York & surrounding counties' residents do NOT have strong views about health insurance industry 🧵

We're going to make another thread with an overview & advice on passing the jury questionnaire, which will be administered inside the courthouse. Potential jurors won't know they're selected for this case until then, so it is important to inform yourself and prepare beforehand.

The less there is to know about you online, the better. Do NOT pretend to be conservative/MAGA/etc., this won't increase your chances of getting in. Quite the opposite. Center or apolitical is where it is at. You don't care about current event. Prosecutors' full letter:

@AprilVixxi In less than 2 weeks - May 18! It is when we'll learn if the NY state judge decided to suppress the evidence or not, so it is pretty important one. There will be new photos, too.
