@MichaelTrudell2 @GregCha67942091 Revelation 7:9-17, the great multitude in white robes, are implicitly the fullness of martyrs during this time, the first ones introduced in 6:9-11. Revelation 3:10 cannot mean Pre-Tribulation Rapture when many Scriptures don’t allow for one. This concludes my witness to you.

@Luke17_37 @GregCha67942091 The nations were at peace at the time Daniel was given that vision. I believe the nations will be at peace again at the time the Antichrist is revealed. That's when peace will be taken from the world. The saints will now be with Jesus (Rev. 7:9-17 and Rev. 3:10)

@MichaelTrudell2 @GregCha67942091 It can be at peace at the first seal and probably will. And the wicked will be at peace in the fifth and sixth seals until they see the signs heralding the day of the LORD. And then they want to die. When I searched for a Pre-Trib Rapture, if it exists, I found it impossible.

@Luke17_37 @GregCha67942091 I think the world will be at peace at the time the Antichrist is revealed. He will then make war, and half way through the 7 invade Israel. As the Antichrist is revealed destruction will come like a flood

@MichaelTrudell2 @GregCha67942091 There’s no rapture apart from the coming of the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 @ 4:15 1 Corinthians 15:52 @ 15:22-23 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 2 Thessalonians 2:1 The wicked will be at peace until signs that announce the imminent day of the LORD (Rv 6:12-17, Joel 2:30-31).

@TipsyPianoBar @Andrewnsnyder You are sounding like a clanging cymbal. Consider us all ignorant if you like. I don’t care. I maintain we don’t know for certain, but God is loving.

@Luke17_37 @Andrewnsnyder When you get to heaven I will bet every dollar i ever make that you won't even remember your childhood pet dog's. On earth God gave us pets as companions. In heaven we are God's companion.

Today my little girl asked what happens when pets die. I told her that I don't know for certain, but I do know that God is good and that he loves us and always does what is right. Even for adults, this is an appropriate response to many questions.

@Andrewnsnyder @TipsyPianoBar What if we say they cease to exist and the child is devastated and hardened to God—and especially if we turn out to be wrong? I remember how I offended junior high child one year by saying they don’t have souls, and I regretted it. Now I just say I don’t know for sure.

@TipsyPianoBar @Luke17_37 Our faith unites us with Christ, who is our source of salvation. We are saved by another. Perhaps it is the same for animals. Or perhaps it isn't. As Macbeth says, there is more in heaven and earth than is dreamt of in our philosophy.

@TipsyPianoBar @Andrewnsnyder Not necessarily. In Genesis 9:5 it says animals will give an account for shedding human blood. We aren’t told enough to know. Some people who had near death experiences or died and got sent back met pets that had died. Not that it’s a sure thing. We really don’t know either way.

@MichaelTrudell2 @GregCha67942091 Peace and safety can be said just before its absence. I wouldn’t be surprised if the first seal with the bow, conquering is fake peace. I think it’s the ultimate fulfillment of Daniel 11:21-24. Afterwords, there’s war. The wicked might be at peace in 5th-6th seal until the signs.

@MichaelTrudell2 @GregCha67942091 Jesus comes in the clouds in Matthew 24:30, “after the tribulation of those days” (Mt 24:29). The believers in 1 Thessalonians 5:4-11 are kept from His wrath not because they’re off the earth, but because they walk in the light (abide in Him).

@MichaelTrudell2 @GregCha67942091 It doesn’t matter if they didn’t know about the last trumpet in Revelation yet. There are many times that prophecies were given to people who had no idea what to think about them. For example, Daniel.

@GregCha67942091 Paul wrote to the churches before Revelation was given to John, so they couldn't have associated the last trumpet with Revelation

@bil89517 @jlpanther I don’t think it’s a vision thing. The bird flies chest in, repeatedly, and to different windows, at different angles, and it’s not a big sheet of glass, either. The design of the windows inside have plenty of those white beams in it that break it up.

A great crested flycatcher is flying into our windows, repeatedly. Poor bird. It seems like it would hurt its body. I wonder what is causing this strange behavior. My first guess was whether electromagnetic signals are causing problems for its brain.

@teachthemx3 After almost 2 decades, I still have nightmares about forgetting I had a class until the end of the semester. Glad to see public education is doing its part to alleviate subconscious fears. 🙄

I have a senior on my roster who hasn’t attended my class a single day this semester. She showed up today for the first time. We have 7 days left before grades are finalized for seniors. My administrator just asked me to see what I can do to help her graduate. In case anyone here is a new follower, this is why I’m leaving public education.

@unpeudebieresvp @TishaLee777 I agree God’s wrath is not for us, but it doesn’t mean physically off the earth. God shielded Noah, Lot, the Israelites in Egypt during the last seven plagues, etc. The context of 1 Thessalonians 5:9 isn’t that we are off the earth but that we walk in the light (abide in Christ).

@Luke17_37 @TishaLee777 the meaning of the "day" of the Lord i think is the key. and God's wrath is not for His church, that is made clear, i don't mind disagreement on this subject, one of us is right, the most important thing is that we are believers, pre or post trib aside

@unpeudebieresvp @TishaLee777 It cannot occur before the Tribulation. The catching up is at the coming of the Lord, after the dead in Christ rise first (1 Th 4:15-17). The first resurrection (Rv 20:4-6) at the coming of the Lord (Rv 19:11-20:6) has a Post-Tribulation context. Many passages teach this timing.

@TishaLee777 i'm not aware of your thoughts on the rapture of the church, but as for me i have come to believe that it does occur before the tribulation, and before the AC is revealed. so trump aside, whoever the AC turns out to be, we are not here when that happens. just one perspective.

Christ is with us until the end of the age, therefore His little flock must not live in fear. We may be small in the eyes of the world, hated by men, opposed by rulers, mocked by the proud, and pressured by the spirit of the age, but we are not abandoned. Jesus said, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). That promise is not sentiment. It is the presence of the risen King with His people as they preach, suffer, obey, endure, and bear witness in a hostile world. The church does not need to be large to be safe. She needs Christ. He calls His people a little flock, yet He says, “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32). That is enough to make weak saints bold. So let His people stand firm. Let them speak truth without shame. Let them endure rejection without panic. Let them obey without asking the world for permission. Christ is with us, Christ keeps us, and Christ will finish what He began. “If God is for us, who is against us?” (Romans 8:31).

@RattlesnakeMeat Romans 11:11-15 describes Israel’s acceptance preceding the resurrection for us all. The dead in Christ rise first before the alive and remain are caught up at the coming of the Lord (1 Th 4:15-17).

This guy has many Bible versions showing how the text is different for Revelation 13:16 regarding "mark of the beast." Some say "on" with the newer translations while the older ones say "in" meaning the "mark of the beast" will be in you, not on. Vaccine goes in you, not on you.

@RattlesnakeMeat 2 Thessalonians 2 does not say the restrainer is the Holy Spirit. He won’t be removed because Jesus said He’d be with us until the end of the age. And Mark 13:11 is about Him speaking through believers who are arrested. And Joel 2:28-32 has an ultimate end times fulfillment.

@RattlesnakeMeat God didn’t have to use the word ekklesia in Revelation 6-18. It means “assembly” and can be used for unbelievers.

@RattlesnakeMeat 1 Thessalonians 5:9 in context isn’t about the Christians being off the earth. It’s about walking in the light (abiding in Christ) (1 Th 5:4-11).
