Ok time for school.
“Barbarian” just meant non-Greek-speaking foreigner. Could be Africans, Persians, Thracians (European), Scythians (European/steppe), Germanic tribes (Northern European), everyone. It was not a modern racial term. Understand that first.
Now if you’re trying to imply Greeks viewed Africans as “uncivilized”, history says the COMPLETE opposite. Greeks saw Egypt as a land of ancient wisdom and learning. Herodotus traveled to Egypt to learn (didn’t travel to Belgium lol) while Homer described Ethiopians as the “blameless Ethiopians” favored by the gods.
Ironically, the foreign groups Greek and later Greco-Roman writers most commonly portrayed as wild, tribal, drunken, or uncivilized, were the northern European peoples like Scythians, Celts, and Germanic tribes…..NOT Africans.

@ZaWJBek @EAE_Africa @zoomafrika1 Only 4 “homelands” declared independence and it all happened post-1960 btw
English

@Luke88ZA @EAE_Africa @zoomafrika1 As opposed to what, homelands ?
You know those areas given to your people to govern themselves.
Oh wait I remember you can’t do that, you need proximity to whites in order to survive 😉
English

@Luke88ZA @jamesonen Zulu population is proto culturally ingoni who derive their language from xhosa, who are proto culturally Ki kongo. You aighnt Bantu.
English

Shaka Zulu disagrees. Massacred and displaced thousands of fellow Africans from their own lands, raping the women and stealing their cattle. Ask the Ndwandwe, Mthethwa, Qwabe, Hlubi, Ngwane, Buthelezi, Bhele, Chunu, Thembu, Mpondo, and the Sotho-Tswana communities.

@jamesonen Jimmy - no African is a foreigner in Africa. Hope you catch the drift!
English

@ZaWJBek @EAE_Africa @zoomafrika1 I asked about overall malnourishment, fact is Malnourishment was very high back then, which further proves that people were paid peanuts. Obviously, you can employ huge numbers if it’s that case. An overall is not “cherry picking”.
English

@WeBantu99863 @jamesonen Dude, again the word “Bantu” is derived from Zulu world , Abantu.
English

@Luke88ZA @jamesonen Zulu is xhosalect. Ubuntu is Kikongo, which is our philosophy separate from zulu.
Indonesia

@Luke88ZA @EAE_Africa @zoomafrika1 Starving? Are you high nobody was starving in South Africa you dumb idiot. Objectively the standard of living was a lot higher during apartheid than today.
We literally have 43% unemployed.
What planet do you live on.
English

@jamesonen I actually hate it when non Zulu people misinterpret our history. When did Shaka fought AmaHlubi? AbaThethwa? Tswana groups? AmaNgwane?
I actually hate it. You’ll never see any Zulu person typing kak about your history
English

@WeBantu99863 @jamesonen The word “bantu” is literally Zulu
Anyway, we don’t share same ethnicity with you people.
English

@jamesonen Yah shaka zulu is sort of proof that zulu culture is not Bantu culture.
English

@jamesonen The Ndwandwe lost a war that they started while Mthethwa, Hlubi ,Qwabe ,Chunu and AbaThembu were literally Zulu allies, Ngwane were defeated by Hlubi regiments as a revenge, Mpondo fought with Zulu over cattle and land disputes and there’s no really history of Zulu against Tswana
English

@ZaWJBek @EAE_Africa @zoomafrika1 lol providing aid to the rest of Africa while your population (majority) was starving is hypocrisy 🤣
English

@Luke88ZA @EAE_Africa @zoomafrika1 Son no amount of facts will change a dumb take like yours. South Africa provided aid to the rest of Africa, we weren’t even in the same universe as the rest of Africa, clearly isolated ourselves with minimal interaction because we didn’t need to interact with them.
English

@bashmurianlarp Are denying that “some” ancient Egyptian important figures had “sub-Saharan” origin?
English

@Luke88ZA He didn’t but he said there were some black Egyptians which is VERY wrong
English

@TrevorPat3 @SilObs31 @DIAS I’m talking about Ethiopians here, they are categorised as “black”, we share the same “race” despite differences between us (genetically and phenotypically)
How come that it’s my problem?
Im literally debating about “Ethiopians” not “films” and those casting staff.
English

@ZaWJBek @EAE_Africa @zoomafrika1 I wonder why you fail to bring facts instead you expose yourself as a loser.
Fact is that we always competed with other African countries.
English

@Luke88ZA @EAE_Africa @zoomafrika1 Wow man are you really this dumb, honestly really in your little mind you actually believe the shit you tell yourself.
No wonder this country is in such a mess, we just have a bunch of low IQ individuals that will drag us further down into the abyss 🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼
English

@DIAS Egyptians weren’t sub Saharan Africans
English

@ZaWJBek @EAE_Africa @zoomafrika1 Crazy on how you throw slurs, it’s a fact that South Africa always competed with Africa.
English

@Luke88ZA @EAE_Africa @zoomafrika1 Good grief you people are actually that stupid 🤦🏼
It really needs to be studied why, it’s clearly genetic.
I mean honestly do you have zero critical thinking skills.
