Built an NBA role classifier using Synergy play type data where every player gets an offensive role and a defensive role based on what they actually do, not their listed position. Role frames were defined by @The_BBall_Index , and every disqualifier threshold, every play type weight, every edge case decision was built around film-informed basketball judgment, not just what the numbers suggest on the surface. This spans the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons regular seasons.
