After listening to Prof Joash Ojo Amupitan, the INEC Chairman of Nigeria, on Arise TV, Morning Show, on the 3 March 2026, at about 9:30 am, I have come to the inevitable conclusion that the INEC Chairman is not only the most incompetent INEC Chairman in Nigeria history, but he is an irresponsible dishonest person. First, I was shocked to hear from the incompetent Chairman that he learnt about the judgement of the Court of Appeal from the social media. This is a case that INEC is a party to and represented by a Counsel, yet the head of INEC heard about the judgement in the social media. I wish he had even said main media. What an indescribable level of incompetence! What this means is that what we have is a social media chairman who takes decisions based on social media comments rather than pure legal principles. Little wonder the quality of his decisions are at the same level with some social media miscreants and street urchins whose main aim is to attract traffic to their blog rather than making any sense in their scripts... Please read the subsequent analysis in the next pages

Do you people understand how wild this is???? A sitting president visited a state where people are being killed and decided to talk to the victims from the bloody airport!!!!! Still has the audacity to say he has to go back soon as the airport doesn’t have light😩😩😩 Then he says sorry to the victims that he has nothing to give them but promises it won’t happen again Enters the plane and flies back. This is officially a Banana republic. How can a president be so tone deaf

On the town hall public hearing organized by Nigerian civil society, ADC Chairman asked me to represent him personally. I attended and told Professor Joas Amupitan in his face that his words shows he does not deserve any trust. That his INEC may be the worst. I have gone ahead on TV to say the 2027 will be the worst election in Nigeria’s history because of Tinubu’s APC and INEC. My name is Sam Amadi, I am a lawyer with a rich social science analytics. Prepare for a terrible, chaotic and grossly rigged 2027 election. I can bet on this

ADC and other serious opposition parties must go international. We have gone past the stage of local agitation. It does nothing to APC I promise. You can carry foam and pack crowd to National Assembly and they will be giggling inside. When they get tired of it, they release tear gas. And that’s that. Opposition must take it a notch higher. Nothing makes APC sit up than international embarrassment. This is the play of 2027.

So this is how we are thinking of redesigning the Igbo apprenticeship program “Igba boy”. For the pilot program, we will likely take in 200 persons to engage in the training on global quality carpentry, bricklaying, tilling, plumbing, HVAC, POP and electricals. The trainees will engage in an intensive 1 year program which they will be housed and fed. No holidays during the program. An additional 3 months will be on business and commercialization. Once they complete the cohort and they meet the standards set, they will be settled with a good amount of money to build on the business arm of their skills. Those who don’t meet up will be dropped off from the program. We will be visiting training centers in Togo and Germany in the coming weeks to solidify our plans and training partnerships. Let’s brainstorm… what do you think?

Not accurate, learned counsel. El-Rufai was arraigned and he pleaded not guilty to the charges. The ICPC is merely a custodial facility in respect of the order of remand. As the prosecuting agency, it cannot operate outside the jurisdiction of the court. The court is seised of the case. There is no longer allowance in law for administrative bail. The government cannot show compassion outside the due process of law. How many Nigerians who are facing prosecution have been shown similar compassion? By releasing him, they’ve prejudiced the bail application before the court slated for hearing on 31st March, 2026. This singular action lends credence to two facts, namely: (i) the government views their case against him as primarily political, (ii), Nigeria is a lawless country.
Ridwan Oke@RidwanuLlah

The Court didn’t remand El Rufai in prison custody, it remanded him in ICPC custody on the application of the ICPC (I believe) pending their investigation. I believe the ICPC can grant him administrative bail if they deem it necessary on “compassionate grounds”. In fact, I won’t be surprised if it’s just for a few days. Nonetheless, the argument that the ICPC lacked the power to grant him administrative bail without a court order is reasonable but it is not in totality. I believe the ICPC still has discretion on his bail unless he was remanded in prison custody.

Arrest of Sergeant Amoke: Abia State Government Will Continue to Assit Citizens in Need The attention of Abia State government has been drawn to the arrest of a personnel of the Nigerian Army, Staff Sergeant Amoke Simon who was received and promised a medical support by His Excellency, Governor Alex Otti a few days ago. Information from Military Authorities revealed that Sergeant Amoke was arrested in connection with alleged fraud perpetrated by him some time ago. The government wishes to state as follows: 1. That Abia State government established that the said personnel once served in Abia and that he actually sustained an injury where he was serving, for which an NGO brought him to Abia State government for medical assistance. 2. Governor Alex Otti's promise of support to him was purely on compassionate ground, in line with the administration’s altruistic disposition which has seen the government extend similar support to several citizens, including security agents who suffered one misfortune or another while discharging their duties. For example, just recently, the government extended financial support to the family of a Naval Personnel who lost her life in an autocrash around the Osisioma Flyover, Aba. Also, financial support was recently extended to the family of an Immigration officer who was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife in Umuahia. Just a few days ago, 8 personnel of the Nigerian Army who were involved in an autocrash were discharged from the hospital following the completion of their treatment which included delicate surgeres sponsored by the state government. All these cases and many others too numerous to list here, were thoroughly investigated before financial support were extended to the affected persons, because the government is not Father Christmas. 3. While it is outside the scope of the State Government to investigate cases of corruption, it’s also important to state that the government requested that due diligence be conducted on Sergent Amoke which may have also trigered the the action of the military which culminated in his arrest shortly after his visit. 4. While the government is in full support of every legiti‌mate action being taken by the Nigerian Army to discipline this erring personnel and ensure that justice is served to the fullest, the government shall continue to offer financial, medical and other humanitarian support to victims of all kinds of misfortune, where and when necessary, notwithstanding the controversies surrounding Sergeant Amoke's case. Ferdinand Ekeoma Special Adviser to the Governor (Media and Publicity) March 25, 2026)

Yesterday, we commissioned Ultimum Beverages’ multimillion-dollar production facility in Aba, a landmark investment that reaffirms Abia State as a thriving hub for industry and innovation. This state-of-the-art plant, built by the Kadji Group, represents a bold commitment of over $35 million, with plans to scale up to $100 million. Beyond the impressive figures, this project is proof that Abia is back as an investment haven, a place where ideas flourish, businesses thrive, and opportunities abound. Since May 2023, our administration has worked tirelessly to reset the business ecosystem: strengthening infrastructure, restoring security, and creating a clean, supportive environment for investors. The confidence shown by Ultimum Beverages is a validation of these efforts, and a reminder that serious-minded investors always recognize where growth is assured. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Kadji Group for believing in Aba’s entrepreneurial spirit and for choosing Abia as their home for this transformative project. Together, we will protect and nurture every investment that brings prosperity to our people. Abia is rising. Abia is ready. Abia is open for business.
