That tells you exactly how much of the pain at the pump is government-loaded cost. And then they wonder why people feel like they’re being robbed.

@MbarkCherguia The cars didn’t alter course, so the biker will take full liability. The legality of the lane splitting is irrelevant fyi. It’s the proximate cause of the collision that dictates where liability lies. In this case, biker misjudged the gap in relation to the size of his bike.

@gotrice2024 Put up a Ring solar powered outdoor camera with a vantage point to capture the licence plate of vehicles who don’t stop. Not going to solve the problem, but it’ll at least mean the driver who hits the pole and flees won’t get away with it.

The same pole keeps getting hit over and over in front of these people’s house, you can even see it leaving when the truck hit it. If you look at the white line, the truck was in its lane. The city then comes out and always puts it back right where it was only to be hit again instead of moving it back a little farther away from the road. The city still hasn’t moved it back and doesn’t seem too interested in doing so even though it costs them thousands every time they need to replace it. The homeowner does t pay for damages but loses power when it happens, what would you do if this was your home?

Walk in the road & when a car comes by step into a gap between two cars until they pass. Don’t try & squeeze by to prove a point. If you cause damage & it’s caught on camera, it’ll cost you!

Northfield Road W13 @EalingCouncil still allow drivers to illegally park on the pavement on this street without penalty. "But it's a quiet little side road". Irrelevant. Pavements are for people, not tin boxes.

@davidbombal Not a fan of this, or how they rolled it out. If like me people don’t have/want a credit card, Apple have made it very difficult to use your ID instead. Took me ages to find out how to switch to the alternative method, it was that well hidden. No instructions on the support page!

It's bad enough parking on zig-zags, as this decreases the visibility available to other road users approaching crossings, INCREASING the risk to pedestrians wanting to use them. To just park & leave your vehicle altogether is another level of selfishness! Vehicle promptly seized

@YFIHQ While I have no sympathy for this inconsiderate prick, I absolutely would not recommend buying these stickers. There’s a reason the submitter is disguising his voice, this is criminal damage. Lots of cameras out there, & the police do investigate if reported. Buy flyers instead!

@FantasyEpics This ad makes so much more sense now that I understand the pop culture reference. Recently started watching Game of Thrones for the first time along with @popcorninbed, and we’ve just finished season 6. Poor Hodor! Great marketing by KFC though.
