We continue to get questions on if Highway 50 is open and the answer is yes and no. It's open but doesn't have the capacity to handle traffic with 80 closed. Now that EB 80 is open, that should improve conditions somewhat but still expect long delays. WB 80 remains closed.

@CaltransDist3 if you’re on highway 50 in cali heading towards tahoe, TURN AROUND… we were on it for 5.5 hours from Sacramento and only made it to Pollock Pines. The traffic is endless!!!!!
