Further to earlier posts about how high general wastage was in WW2, in the first four months of 1944, more RAF fighters were lost in accidents than by enemy action.
If you are confouded by stupid events around you, just consider this for perspective on stupidity, they actually tried to remake this film >>

Our space version of hot wings was a flaming hot success! The consensus? Spice intensity is more muted than on Earth. We used shredded chicken and a spoon, which kept most of the sauce off our hands and lips, but it was still enough heat to elicit teary eyes and tongues on fire!
How is Expedition 72 tailgating for the Super Bowl? We're cooking up a space version of hot wings and projecting the pre-game coverage on the big screen. The big question is, will they taste as hot in space as they do on Earth? We are about to find out!
This Holiday Season, we've baked up something special! Just like baking, the best creations come from a perfect mix of care, creativity, and a touch of magic. Here’s to a season filled with warmth and inspiration! 🎄🍪
Behind the scenes in Britain in the 30`s, and the talk of avoiding war in public, the reality was clear. Even in 1935 the Committee of Imperial Defence was planning right down to the level of setting aside budget for respirators for children for the expected mass and location of German raids on our cities.
The "last minute" story of how Britain got ready for WW2 amongst an atmosphere of genuine pacifism and unwillingness to confront Hitler was little more than a façade.
In the same year (1935), discussions at the highest level commenced between Britain and the USA for large scale supply of 100 octane aviation fuel to England, massive construction efforts began to be undertaken to take care of storage and distribution of military fuel and oils, and within months, the first "shadow" factories to make Bristol military aero engines were put in motion.
Chamberlain, meanwhile, continually pressured for parity with Germany in the air.
@charles_loder@brianwdavidson FWIW: I just discovered that Logos went subscription; my comment was regarding the 'previous' Academic version of Logos, not the current one which I haven't evaluated.
@LukeLetellier@brianwdavidson I'm very familiar with STEP! But I'm just looking for an offline HB I could use during services, maybe with BDB.
I'm feeling like I may need to build something to scratch my own itch
I'll take a look at Logos's academic plans though, that may be a helpful lead
@charles_loder@brianwdavidson Are you looking for online or offline? Stepbible.org would be a good source if online is ok.
As for Logos, take a look at their "Academic" plans (not 'educational'). They don't promote those as much because they're less expensive, but they have the source texts.
@brianwdavidson I’m not looking for all the bells and whistles to be free, I know they put a ton of work into that stuff. I’m just wanting the Hebrew text. One of these I may bite the bullet and get Logos
Do babies develop accents even before they can speak conventionally?
The short answer is yes… and these linguistic markers begin even sooner than you might think.
So many of you tagged me in this video yesterday featuring an infant that babbles with the same Scouse accent as his mother.
Other than “no” he doesn’t speak a single conventional word, but listen to how the rhythm and intonation of his vocalizations mirror those to which he is exposed daily.
As hearing becomes functional during the third trimester, infants are exposed to the distinct patterns of their mothers’ native language - with studies suggesting newborns can already distinguish (and prefer) what will become their native tongue only hours after birth.
Incredibly this learning doesn’t wait until the babbling stage to evidence itself.
Research suggests that even the cries of newborns reflect this preference.
That’s right: babies cry with an accent.
One major study on the topic showed that French babies cry with a rising intonation, while German infants favor a falling melody - both reflecting the patterns of their native languages.
We’re only just beginning to understand the deep learning that begins in utero. It’s just more evidence that the period from prenatal to three is the most critical window in all of human development.

Windows file explorer search is garbage, and you need to virtually use pseudo-programing code to find files and folders.
How do you find an exact file name, why use double quotes of course " "... haha but NO...
Single, and even double quotes will find the parts, but not necessarily in the right order. Eg. "AIR-20" or ""AIR-20"" Will also pick up search returns for: "20_AIR"
To find an EXACT file or folder name (in this example the folder might be called "AIR-20-2875"you have to do:
~="AIR-20-2875"
To avoid picking up image numbers, simply say "type: folder". ...ahahha.. but NO. Its now called "kind"
So:
~="AIR-20-2875" kind:folder
obviously🤡🤪🙄🤣☠️

As Europe celebrate Nazi defeat, French opinion polling company IFOP asks France which country contributed most to Germany's downfall; 57% choose the Soviet Union as most important Allied nation (survey shown on the far left).
Poll. Would you buy a Cinema 4D Book?
Please reply with a reason for your choice, if you may and don't consider other variables (e.g. Price). Just the principle. (I am not planning to write one. Just curious)...
On this day in 1983, a record-breaking 106 million Americans tune in to watch the final episode of M*A*S*H. Set during the Korean War, the series ran 11 years; the war itself spanned just three.
