There’s a heaviness in the air today. You can feel it. I went to bed with it last night, & woke up with it today. From anniversaries that reopen 24 year-old wounds, to tragedies that break open new ones, our nation is hurting. People are waking up today with emotions that are still raw. From Orem, to Scottsdale, to Charlotte to Evergreen, families are grieving. Communities are shaken. Hearts are broken. We can debate policies & politics all day, but NONE of that will heal us. What we need is repentance. True repentance. What we need is God. A nation can’t repent, but individuals can. A nation cannot turn back to God & His Word, but you & I can. While hate continues to dominate headlines, healing must ALWAYS begin in individual hearts. Revival doesn’t start in Washington or even a church auditorium. It starts in family living rooms & personal prayer closets; where broken hearts begin to cry out, “God, forgive me, heal me, change me.” We need God's forgiveness. We need His mercy. We need a revival of Truth & Grace. But it doesn’t start “out there” somewhere, it starts right here. TODAY. With me. With you. With ALL of us. God said in Zechariah 1:3, “Return to Me, and I will return to you.” Lord, forgive us. Heal us. Restore us. All of us. Will you join me in seeking God in prayer today?🙏🏼

The truths & principles of God‘s Word do not contradict or compete with one another, they always complement and complete one another.

Make sure the common voices in your life are of the right kingdom. Family members and close friends/associates focused on their own fleshly kingdoms are dangerous beyond description.

When a container is bumped or disturbed, it's what's inside that comes out. So if anything but the fruit of the Spirit comes out of you when something doesn't go your way, you need to ask Jesus to change what's on the inside.

There’s a big difference between sweeping it under the rug and putting it under the blood. One is marked by repentance, the other by avoidance.

The level of trust & platform you give to a leader should never be based on their competency or their calling alone, but their character as well.

People who only repent of secret sins to God in private, but never pair their repentance with confession to a brother/sister (Jas 5:16), avoid accountability, & are typically repeat offenders.

It's possible to be culturally correct, but Biblically corrupt. It's impossible to be Biblically correct & culturally comfortable.

@RyanAustinDean I would add a third (and maybe more substantive) reason: we value freedom as a foundational organizing principle of human society, rather than love. It’s the rotten, faulty assumption at the heart of the “Enlightenment”: if adults want to do something, it cannot be wrong.

…is cited as a contributing factor in over half the divorces every year. And yet the United States, still a predominately Christian nation, allows (*promotes*) it why? Two reasons: 1. Our nation is addicted. 2. Money answereth all things. We need a new Great Awakening.

The praise team was singing “The longer the wait, the longer I'll praise The stronger the pain, the stronger my faith grows The higher the need, the higher I'll reach The greater the cost, the more I'll believe for”... Anthony’s son came on his own & set the church on fire.

I can disagree with politicians about some issues and still vote for them; however, one of those issues is not abortion. If you don't get that one right, I just can't trust your moral compass. Shedding innocent blood is not just another sin; it is the GRAVEST of all injustices.

Unmanaged time will flow to your areas of weakness.  Unmanaged money will flow to things that have little or no lasting value. It’s wise to have a budget (plan) for both. ⏰💵

In a matter of hours, “FORSAKEN” & “FINISHED” became “RISEN” & “REDEMPTION.” Joy replaced sorrow & victory replaced defeat. Easter reminds us that no matter how dark, there is HOPE! Happy Easter!

PSA: FAITH is greater than FEAR. WORSHIP is better than WORRY. PRAYER helps more than PANIC. It's possible to exercise CAUTION without succumbing to CHAOS. "This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalms 118:24
