The story of Cedric Mullins is the story of overcoming adversity. Broke into the bigs at only 23 as the successor to an Orioles hall-of-famer. Struggled immensely and went down not only to AAA but ultimately AA. But he took it as a challenge. He worked hard, adjusted his game, and fought his way back into the big leagues, only to be greeted by some awful Orioles teams. Didn't matter. Ced kept grinding and put together an All-Star, career year, becoming our first-ever 30-30 player. He was a reason to watch an otherwise terrible team, and became a fan favorite for great reason. He'd be rewarded by getting to celebrate a 101-win team just two years later. He's a fan-favorite, leader, and All-Star. I'm proud to have been a fan of Cedric Mullins for the past seven seasons.
