Seeing all this virginity talk reminded me of one of my uncles. He married a virgin and never missed a chance to brag about it. They had their first child, then two years later, they had their second child. When the whole DNA conversation got loud on social media, he was always so confident, beating his chest that his kids were definitely his. Until one serious fight with his wife 😭 To think they barely have issues but that fight changed everything. He went to his friends to vent, and as expected, the conversation somehow found its way back to DNA testing. That’s how my uncle decided to do it and upon seeing the result, he fainted😭 He couldn’t believe it when he woke up, he kept insisting the hospital must have swapped the babies 😌🤦🏾‍♀️ A family meeting was called. His wife didn’t say a word, she just kept crying and crying even in front of her own family. My uncle was losing it, he was crashing out so bad, he was still insisting the babies were swapped, until one of my aunties asked, “If they swapped the first, did they also swap the second?” That was when reality started sinking in. Long story short, their divorce is still in court. Funny how, she’s asking for some of his properties.🤦🏾‍♀️ To think till date, she didn’t say anything about who she had those children for. She didn’t even explain herself. My uncle said, he never suspected anything and to think my extended family really liked her, she was very beautiful, modest and well-cultured.🥹 My uncle has been told to get married again and anytime he hears that, he’ll get angry so bad😭🥹 So it makes me wonder, does marrying a virgin really protect you from things like this or is it just about people and their choices?

It’s stupidity that makes some of you believe this woman seeing her income as family income has everything to do with money! If you’re not ready to lose your individuality to marriage then don’t bother doing it. Since yesterday, the focal point has been that as a man, there’s no point getting married to a wife who values money than she values you and family. Or are you too stupid to see that most of the people even preaching these things can survive on their own?! It’s common sensical that a wife values money than she values her husband and her family, she’s a money-sexual whore who lacks family values. Why should any man with an ounce of self-respect choose to sacrifice his life for a woman who doesn’t care about him?!? I’ve always said that most women would come to heavily depend on their husbands and would almost never outearn the men in their lives simply because most men do not bear the burden and responsibility of pregnancy, childbirth, and nurturing the children to the degree that women do. . . . Again, the whole essence of any individual having money, having strengths, having talents, having wisdom etc is so that they can effectively serve their families with it. If I have thing that would bless my family and I withhold that thing, it means I do not prioritize my family, and that I prefer the other things I use my time and resources for than I do my family. It’s common sense. Even countries where people are way more stable and richer than you people, the couples see their incomes as belonging in ur family. We are too poor for the stupid self-sabotaging ideologies we stick to. Commit to a money-sexual whore all you want. But please, leave poverty or abundance out of your nonsense argument.
